>> Daisy Lowe was recently hailed as a model who could bring the death of size zero, and designers seem to be falling into place — either that, or they're latching onto her it-girl status, and her curvier-than-the normal-model shape has nothing to do with it.
Not only has Marc Jacobs tapped her to be the face of his Spring 2009 Marc by Marc Jacobs campaign — "I think she looks adorable" — but now word is floating around that she has a DKNY campaign in the pipeline, shot by Scott "The Sartorialist" Schuman. No word on how this falls into place with another it-girl's DKNY campaign — Daisy could have DKNY and Harley Viera-Newton DKNY Jeans, vice versa, or they could be in one of the campaigns together.
Regardless, Daisy's rise from Agent Provocateur and Doc Martens ads to high fashion diffusion campaigns says something — and in these economic times, her "normal girl" customer appeal could be it.

>> THE MODELIZER —Oddly, even though Daisy Lowe and Mark Ronson were seen everywhere at New York Fashion Week together — working his sister Charlotte Ronson's show, front row at Diesel — they split in New York. No reasons were given for the parting of ways, but Daisy is now in London to carry on the Fashion Week craze. [People]

>> Every year that Kate Moss attends the Glastonbury Festival, she pulls off at least one iconic look; In 2005, it was the low-slung belt, hot pants, and Hunter wellies, and last year, it was the slouchy black top, PVC pants, and muddy stiletto boots (below).
This year's Glastonbury Festival just kicked into gear today, and what do you know . . . Daisy Lowe popped up goofing off for the cameras in a slouchy black top, PVC pants, and muddy wellies. Considering that the fashion flock watches Glastonbury to see what Kate pops up wearing, it's not so smart for an up-and-coming model like Daisy to follow Kate's suit — at the same event — a year later.
