>> INSIDER WIRE —Vogue Paris's December/January issue, guest edited by Princess Stephanie of Monaco, is supposed to drop Nov. 28, and with it comes that annual treat, the calendar. The 2009 edition was photographed by Terry Richardson and was made in collaboration with Louis Vuitton, featuring footwear and bits of lingerie from the Cruise and Spring 2009 collections. Anna Maria Jagodzinska and Aline Weber are rumored to be inside. [WWD, TFS]

>> It's not often that Vogue Italia will shy away from a boundary-pushing Steven Meisel editorial — together, they've covered race, terrorism, plastic surgery, drug abuse — but apparently it stops when it comes to sex.
Earlier this year, Meisel shot a sexually-charged series of photos based on the UK trend of "dogging," in which couples engage in explicit activities in parked cars, parks, or other public places. The project was supposedly set to be Vogue Italia's September 2008 cover story, complete with three-page foldout cover, but was pulled because it was "too much, too sexy, too over the top" according to a commenter on The Imagist.
Rumors swirled that the editorial was sentenced to limbo forever, and there was talk of W Magazine picking it up, but curious minds will be happy to know that it has landed in the new issue of V Magazine — 28 pages of model-filled images that mark Meisel's first — albeit inadvertent — shoot for the magazine. As for the featured models, Daul Kim, Iris Strubegger, Anna Maria Jagodzinska, and Anna Selezneva are all said to be included, with at least one more unnamed girl involved.

>> INSIDER WIRE —I think it's safe to say that three weeks in, Fashion Month is starting to wear on the fashion crowd. First, all the comparisons of Gucci to Zara yesterday, and now, the puppy Anna Maria Jagodzinska carried down the Spring 2009 Dolce & Gabbana runway this morning elicited a few coos, but also some select sarcasm: "The puppy itself wasn’t wearing any gear, and wasn’t labeled as part of Dolce & Gabbana’s product line-up, so presumably is not available to order with next spring’s collection." >> Steven Meisel's October 2008 "Natural High" editorial in Vogue has everyone talking. Where else but Vogue would you see models in chubbies (not to be mistaken with chubby models) climbing up the steep side of a mountain, goat-style, clutching clutches and in super-high heels? Or what about Caroline Trentini, dangling over the side of a cliff? This one is just begging to be LOLVogued.

>> If you're going to spend a lot of time bored on the subway, why not do it for pay, and look fabulous while you're at it? That must have been stylist Edward Enninful's concept for the Fall 2008 Alberta Ferretti campaign, which features Anna Maria Jagodzinska and new talent Magdalena Frackowiak, Siri Tollerod, and Viktoriya Sasonkina juxtaposed in jewel tones with jaded expressions affixed on their faces. The best shot Steven Meisel captured has to be of Siri, slumped over in plastic chair.
