Kate Moss's Earnings Have Doubled Since Her Cocaine Scandal Five Years Ago, Her Agent Says

>> In a radio interview yesterday, Kate Moss's agent (and Storm Models founder) Sarah Doukas said that Moss's cocaine scandal in 2005 has had no long-term effects on her career - her fees "did not go down," and her annual profits have increased from £2 million to £4 million ($3.2 million to $6.4 million) since. When asked if Moss's fee had actually risen as a result of the news, Doukas replied: "It's hard to say isn't it? I can't remember. It didn't go down, it didn't go down."

As for how she fielded the scandal's aftermath, Doukas explained: "I basically just spent a lot of time on the phone trying to reassure [Moss's] big clients that you can’t believe everything you read and, unfortunately, all press actually is good press in this world we live in. I took a strategic view of it, I just thought she will be fine, and I knew that some of my great clients, that were huge clients to her, they stuck by and said, 'We are in your capable hands, we will stick by her' - and they did."

>> Any hope that Sir Phillip Green and Simon Cowell may have had for Kate Moss to act as a judge on one of their shows in development may have just gone down the tubes: Simon Fuller, creator of American Idol, which helped Cowell rise to fame, just took a majority stake of 51 percent in Moss's model agency, Storm.

Fuller has been in talks with Storm's founders, Sarah Doukas and her brother Simon Chambers, for the past year and aims to “help create new joint entertainment platforms for its talent, as well as developing the Storm brand in new and exciting directions.” Doukas hopes the partnership "will provide Storm with the opportunity to work competitively, creatively and on an international level," and Fuller elaborated that the deal will allow them to “push the boundaries, blur the lines and redefine what a model agency should be in this fast moving world, where fashion is playing an increasingly important role in setting and reflecting cultures and tastes.”

Kate Moss: Launching Topshop in New York, Maybe Engaged?

>> Kate Moss is still very much in business - that photoshoot with Craig McDean in Paris last week was for a future Yves Saint Laurent women's fragrance, she recently had buckets of water thrown in her face during a Mert & Marcus shoot, and soon she's going to be jetting in to New York to launch that first stateside Topshop store - they've already got racks inside - simultaneously with her ninth collection for the brand, which she's already been wearing out and about, and has garnered fans like Giovanna Bataglia.

But those things might not be the only projects on Kate's plate. In a recent interview with the Telegraph, it appears that Kate slipped up and admitted that she's getting married - why else would she say "the wedding"?

An exquisitely beaded 1920s-style flapper dress that is draped over a chair catches her eye. "Ooh that would be great for the wedding." She pauses, suddenly realising the headline-worthy nature of what she has just said. "Not my wedding. A friend’s. No. I’m not getting married and my boobs haven’t grown because I’m lactating or pregnant."

But back to her Topshop collection - she's says it's evolved since round one.

"The first season was pieces that I loved which had been hanging in my wardrobe that I then tweaked and improved. It was great, but now I can’t wear any of it because, oh my God, all my favourite dresses have a Topshop label in them, ha ha. Now when I come into the office I’ll talk about things that I really want. It’s about what I think I am going to wear next season."
