The British Advertising Authority has banned a L'Oreal ad because it features a digitally altered image of actress Rachel Weisz. The authority says the photos "misleadingly exaggerated" how well the product - a skin-firming cream - works. [Styleite]

Anna Wintour has been revealed as one of President Obama's major re-election fundraisers. According to a recently published list, Wintour has raised more than $500,000. [Telegraph]

Jonathan Saunders has been named the winner of the British Fashion Council/Vogue Fashion Fund Award. The Scottish designer will receive 200,000 euros to invest in his business. [Huffington Post]

Charlotte Gainsbourg recently released a new double album, and it was produced by Beck. Now she's teamed up with The Horrors' Tom Furse for a remix of her song "Anna." Among those who gathered at the fete, held inside the London landmark Aspley House: Kate Hudson (in coral Elie Saab) and her fiance Matt Bellamy; Bono and Ali Hewson (in Edun); Tom Ford in a velvet suit; Kate Moss (in an Azzaro jumpsuit); and her father Paul McCartney and his fiancee Nancy Shevell. Gwyneth Paltrow, too, joined the festivities - which included an after-party at the Groucho Club in Soho - and was later spotted leaving with two mugs, printed with photographs of McCartney as a baby.

Peter Lindbergh shot Paltrow on the top of the Tudor City skyscrapers in Manhattan for ads that will only be used in Asian and European markets - and now we have a first look at the campaign.

Raquel Zimmermann recently confirmed: "I'll be in the Lanvin campaign which was shot by photographer Steven Meisel, but I can not describe how it was, total secrecy until the campaign out!" And Roberto Cavalli is reportedly employing Natasha Poly, Mariacarla Boscono, and Karen Elson to be shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and styled by Panos Yiapanis.

After Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted leaving Coach headquarters recently with Reed Krakoff, meanwhile, rumors have been fanned that the actress might be a new face for either Coach or Krakoff's Coach-funded eponymous label.
