After he made contact with her, she fell, but not all the way to the ground, and she doesn't feel it was intentional - instead, she blames the fall on her 6" high heels. More Details on Jack McCollough's Post-Costume Gala Run-In with Kiefer Sutherland

>> This morning, a rumor went around that Proenza Schouler's Jack McCollough was in the hospital after a nose-breaking run-in with Kiefer Sutherland at a Costume Institute Gala after-party, and now more details have emerged.

McCollough allegedly knocked Brooke Shields over and Kiefer, who saw it happen, went over and told him to apologize. Witnesses say that McCollough pushed Kiefer, and the actor responded by headbutting the designer. Police are investigating the incident, and cite visible lacerations to McCollough's nose - nothing about it being broken.

Meanwhile, Brooke Shields reps are already on damage control - they say "nothing happened to her. Jack did nothing inappropriate. It's not clear what caused Kiefer to do what he did."

UPDATE: Apparently McCollough filed a complaint with the police last night and told investigators that Sutherland "was drunk and obnoxious and wouldn't back down or be logical." Furthermore, he said the incident "wasn't even over anything . . . he was just roiling drunk and looking for something to smack. It didn't matter what." A rep for the designer declined comment.

Gisele Bundchen has arrived in sequined Atelier Versace minidress - she says she picked it out herself and they had to make it two inches shorter for her. Meanwhile, Eva Mendes grabbed Amber Valletta's booty on the red carpet, and Shalom Harlow, Amber, Natalia Vodianova, Eva Herzigova, and Stella Tennant have made a red carpet block while they stop to exchange air kisses.

Anna is furious that the Met Gala got upstaged by Kiefer doing something stupid at an after-party that wasn't even part of her event. Now that's all anyone is talking about, not her party. And she is so genuinely fond of Jack, she has supported him and Lazaro for years, she really feels they are part of the future of American fashion. So she's doubly annoyed.

>> This year's supermodel-centric Costume Institute Gala is coming up soon - Monday - and it's shaping up to be the toned-down affair that was expected: a number of designers who usually attend are not, tables are not selling as well as in the past, and there are even rumors that Vogue is having model attendees pay an entry fee to the tune of $7,500.

Versace has decided to join Burberry, Roberto Cavalli, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, and Alberta Ferretti in the not-buying-a-table camp, and Celine and Fendi are not actively participating in the event at all. Domenico Dolce, Stefano Gabbana, Christopher Bailey, L'Wren Scott, Suphie Buhai and Lisa Mayock of Vena Cava, Erin Fetherston are all said to be forgoing the festivities, and Christy Turlington, despite this year's theme, turned down her invitation as she will be out of the country.

As for those who are attending, sponsor Marc Jacobs has his fiance Lorenzo Martone "semi-hosting" a table of his own, and co-host Kate Moss is supposedly after Stephen Jones for a specially-crafted turban decorated with Shaun Leane brooch for the occasion, and is rumored to have asked Jacobs for a Veronica Lake-inspired gown. Calvin Klein Brings Back Steamy Jeans Commercials

>> It's been a few years since Brooke Shields told us that nothing comes between her and her Calvins - almost two decades. Not since the early '80s, when those Calvin Klein Jeans commercials were running, has the brand tried to top them.

Enter 2009, the year the label finally gives it another go, with a grainy Steven Meisel-shot commercial featuring Anna Selezneva, Anna Maria Jagodzinska, and Natasha Poly greased up and writhing in nothing but their Calvins. The ads have already been banned from even late-night cable TV - nothing CK isn't used to, since the same thing happened last year with their Eva Mendes Secret Obsession commercial - but they plan on having this one actually make it on TV in the US. An edited version will air on American cable, and countries like Italy, France, Spain, and Germany will run the unedited version below.

All I know is that the age of designer denim has returned; an age in which people are willing to pay $200 and up for one pair of jeans, as long as they're the "right ones." Yes, I'm talking about that pair that performs a butt lift and liposuction on your thighs, falls to just the right length at your ankles, is comfortable to wear, and even rolls over and plays dead if you ask it. There's been so much hype, they're even making movies about magical pairs of jeans that fit four very different sized girls well. It seems as of late that the perfect pair of jeans has become everyone's new Holy Grail -- I mean, even the "fashionistas" at Time Magazine have taken notice -- they recently wrote an article mocking people who pay bigtime for their jeans to have the bejeezus pounded, ground, scrubbed and ripped out of them.

I don't know about you, but I'm getting pretty damn tired of seeing A pockets every two seconds. At least try out some Stitch's... or some Paige Premiums, people. Or better yet, go out on a limb. Eliminate the jean-dependency that seems to be so prevalent, especially now that jeans becoming more and more acceptable in the workplace. I'll be the first to admit that I'm just as guilty as you are at wearing jeans every other day, if not more often. But think about it -- once you put on a pair of jeans, half your outfit is made. That's why everyone likes them so much in the first place. Not only that, but pretty much everything goes with jeans. On the flip side, however, you're losing some of your creative potential -- it's almost lazy to put on a pair of jeans. You could be wearing a skirt or pants that are much more likely to make you stand out from the rest of the denim-wearing populace, but instead you (and I) go for the easy route...the security blanket. No matter how much you pay for the jeans you're wearing, at first glance, all jeans look like...jeans. So join me, doff those crazy expensive i-know-five-other-people-that-have-these-jeans, and try a few other looks on your bottom half. Really, in the summer you don't have an excuse -- skirts are much cooler in the sun -- so use that as your crutch, if need be. This isn't the '80s, and Brooke Shields isn't a hot young Calvin Klein model -- so you don't have to listen to her any more -- it's okay to let something come between you and your jeans.

If you simply can't wean yourself off your denimy fetish, at least join the "Jeans of the Month" club at grettastyle.com and keep up with the Joneses. The president of the club, Gretchen Monahan, tries to "look for under the radar styles, sleeper styles." That way, at least, you won't be like the rest of mankind.
