Juerger Teller Loves Wearing Short Satin Shorts Thanks to a Marc Jacobs Campaign

>> Juergen Teller wore an oversized white T-shirt and super-short blue satin shorts edged with white piping for a recent interview with the Independent - a practice he apparently picked up on the set of the Spring 2004 Marc Jacobs campaign shoot he did with Charlotte Rampling: "I got to Paris, and to my complete horror I couldn't fit into any of the clothes. I was too fat." Juergen had chosen to shot himself for Jacobs's menswear that season, but the only piece he could fit into was a pair of silver satin shorts. The decision was made, and supposedly, he's worn the style religiously since.

PETA's New Target: "Pinocchio Armani"

>> Now that PETA got their most recent target, Donna Karan, to vow not to use fur, they've turned all their attention to Giorgio Armani. The organization took a full-page ad out in today's Variety depicting Armani with an elongated nose, urging Oscar attendees to shun Armani's designs on the red carpet, since the designer apparently broke a promise to avoid using fur.

A year ago, Armani told reporters before showing his Armani Prive collection: "There is no fur in the collection. Many years ago I actually made a declaration that I wouldn’t use fur. I used some fur in some recent collections, and the organization PETA, whom most of you are familiar with, discussed this particular issue, and presented some information to [me] and [I'm] not using fur in [my] collection."

Vivienne Westwood After Sex and the City Screenplay

>> Dame Vivienne never ceases to surprise. First, the choice of Pam Anderson as her Spring 2009 campaign face - shot by Juergen Teller at a trailer, no less - and now she's got her eyes on a film. Not that biopic that has been rumored for years, but rather the Sex and the City sequel - and she doesn't want to just design another dress this time; she wants to write the whole screenplay.

Apparently she's quite set on the idea. In fact, she's been in contact with the production staff, trying to pitch her storyline, according to a spokesman: "She's been obsessed with the film ever since she saw it. One of her designs was used as the wedding dress. She has even put in calls to Sarah Jessica Parker about it."

So far, no dice - it's been a case of "don't call us, we'll call you," says the spokesman. "We haven't had any news about it yet, so we don't know what's happening." Maybe Viv should stick to her day job for now?

Today, the designer's team is denying the claim: "The script has not even been finished yet, let alone casting. Kate Winslet was just one of many names that were mentioned as possibles to play Vivienne, but this whole thing has been blown completely out of proportion." Vivienne Westwood, Kate Moss to be Immortalized on Film?

That Vivienne Westwood biopic that has been bandied about for two years? The rumors have been reignited - the designer's managing director was supposedly overheard a couple of days ago telling guests at the Westwood Gold Label show that Kate Winslet is lined up to play Viv from the '70s to present day.

And here's a new one: a Kate Moss movie. Supposedly, a team of Hollywood types is interested in London's Primrose Hill and the crowd who hangs out there - Sienna Miller, Rhys Ifans, Sadie Frost . . . and Kate Moss.

Neither film is anywhere close to being confirmed, but interesting, nonetheless.
