Caroline Trentini Is Engaged

>> 24-year-old Caroline Trentini is the latest model headed for a wedding. Trentini, who began dating her ex-boyfriend Fabio Bartelt again in early 2010 - after breaking it off with photographer Victor Demarchelier - become engaged to Bartelt just recently. She tweeted the picture above on Oct. 29, with the caption, "Oh happy day." And Bartelt, for his part, tweeted, "Happy day for me, too.. I'm going to marry with the love of my life..Is there a bigger happiness?" The two have also worked together professionally in the past on photo shoots.

Victor Demarchelier Debuts Solo Show, Talks Shooting Girlfriend Caroline Trentini

>> Victor Demarchelier's first solo New York show, "Creating Images," opens today at Clic Gallery, featuring 20 pieces taken over the past few years. Demarchelier, son of Patrick Demarchelier, describes the mostly black-and-white collection as "very personal" - works included range from a still-life shot of his childhood teddy bear to a number of topless photos of Caroline Trentini, his girlfriend of three years, of whom he says: “I’ll tell her about a shot before we go to the studio and then two out of three times she says ‘No.’”

Victor, 25, who has photographed for Vogue Paris, Interview, and 25, only minimally retouches his images: “I like when they’re rough. I don’t always spot them; that way they’re more like a piece of art. The accidents can be beautiful, too.” And he currently shares a studio space in Chelsea with his father. “We like to talk to each other while the other one is shooting. Sometimes we definitely get on each other’s nerves,” he laughs.

Anja Rubik, Sasha Knezevic Fete 25 Magazine Launch in Paris

>> Earlier this week, Anja Rubik and Sasha Knezevic celebrated their new new-look take on Austrian magazine 25 - the official launch issue features Constance Jablonski, Karlie Kloss, and Abbey Lee Kershaw on three separate covers, all styled by Barbara Martelo and photographed by Marcin Tyszka.

Sal Morale (who appears in the issue with girlfriend Maryna Linchuk) DJed the fete in an old Paris apartment, where fellow featured subjects like Heidi Mount, Karlie Kloss, Alana Zimmer, and Kasia Struss joined him. The issue boasts an abundance of couture - “It is rare to get so many couture clothes in a magazine," Rubik told WWD - and comes in a limited-edition English version (2,000 copies) and a larger print run in German (50,000 copies). “It’s an Austrian magazine so it was important to keep a link between the first issue and Austria,” said Rubik, explaining fashion editorials inspired by artists Egon Schiele (photographed by Victor Demarchelier) and Gustav Klimt (featuring Eniko Mihalik).

Knezevic and Rubik are already hard at work on their next issue of the quarterly magazine; noted the latter: “One of our contributors will be Julia Restoin-Roitfeld."

>> Last night, Victor Demarchelier, son of Patrick Demarchelier and boyfriend of Caroline Trentini, had his first photography opening with Alexandra Richards last night in New York. Carol was, unsurprisingly, his favorite lens subject, posing for a number of photos dressed only from heels to waist, but she wasn't in attendance - and as far as we know, she's not in Milan, either. She must still be visiting with her family in Brazil or recuperating from her Carnival appearance in Rio de Janeiro last week. One attendee who was a bit of a surprise, however: Grace Coddington - Vogue is sending fewer editors to Milan this season, but I would've thought the creative director would make the cut.
