Gisele Bundchen Talks About Her Success and Her Diet

>> In British Vogue's December 2011 issue, which she covers, Gisele Bundchen talks about her success. "Like I tell my five sisters, who don't work at it very hard at all, whatever you put in, you get out. I'm not afraid of working hard at anything, whatever it is. I just always want to be the best that I can."

She also talks about her husband of just under three years, Tom Brady: "He's such a gentle giant. I'm so proud of him. When I go to watch him play, I'm like this big cheerleader, jumping up and down for him. I was born such a passionate person. I don't know if that's my blessing or my curse!"

That passion extends to health and diet at the Bundchen-Brady household. For her 5-year-old stepson, Jack, and her 2-year-old son, Benjamin, sugar is a no-no: "My children, they are like white canvases. When Benjamin eats broccoli, he thinks it's dessert!" For Jack's last birthday, Bundchen made the cake herself with "cocoa powder and coconut oil and, you know, those dried things - what are they called? That's it! Dates - and I put them all in the processor, and whoosh! Delicious!"

Bundchen admits she will have an occasional ice cream cone or a couple of pieces of chocolate. But she hardly drinks: "Well, Tom, he doesn't drink at all, so what am I going to do, have a glass of wine by myself?" And she tries to limit red meat to once every 15 days or so. "I love meat. C'mon, I'm Brazilian! But I also love animals. So what I find really helpful - you might think I'm crazy - is that before I eat any meat I always take one second of silence to put my hands over it and bless it and be grateful at least that it was a life . . ."

Gisele Bundchen, who left her Angel wings behind in 2007, has launched Gisele Bundchen Intimates with Brazilian company Hope, set to hit 2,000 stores May 25. Bundchen kicked off the collaboration with a runway show in Sao Paulo last night, festooned in oversized bows and feather headdresses remniscent of a VS runway. The model, who still holds the crown for top-paid model (five years running now), and makes double her husband Tom Brady's salary, looks like she won't be giving the title away anytime soon.

Karlie Kloss Scores May 2010 Cover of Teen Vogue, Has Crush on Tom Brady

>> It's rare for a model to score an only-girl Teen Vogue cover -the most recent one that comes to mind is Gemma Ward's February 2006 cover for the magazine - but Karlie Kloss has done just that with the May 2010 issue of Teen Vogue. 17-year-old Kloss racked up more than more than 150,000 airline miles in the last year, scored the finale spot in Jason Wu's show for the last four seasons running - "She's my lucky closer," the designer says - and has been tapped by many as the next heir to the supermodel throne.

But Karlie is still "just Karlie," one of her friends from home in St. Louis says. She has made sweets for Teen Vogue's Amy Astley and Alexander Wang, the latter who says: "She baked me peanut butter cookies when she came in for her fittings." And she's always accompanied by an adult - her English teacher came with her to the Paris couture shows last Summer, and her Uncle Keith, who Karlie describes as a "big bodyguard" type, has traveled with her as well. "I need that support," Karlie told Teen Vogue. "I don't want to be on my own yet. I'm not ready for that."

Kloss idolizes Christy Turlington and eventually wants to get "some sort of medical degree. Something that would allow me to visit third-world countries and help children." But when it comes to what she looks for in a boyfriend, another supermodel's tastes come to mind: "If Tom Brady ever becomes single, or if he has a brother, or someone Tom Brady-ish . . ." She smiles and adds with a wink, "Don't tell Gisele."

Gisele Bundchen Launches Skincare Line, Covers April 2010 Vogue

>> As promised, the Vogue April 2010 cover features a model - and Gisele Bundchen is the chosen face. Bundchen, who just launched a three product beauty line called Sejaa, tells the magazine her manufacturers "were ready to kill me. I wanted the cream to be organic - they explained that if it's organic, it's alive, and that means it can't survive for a long time." Now, the mud mask and creams are called "natural," and their preservative is coconut oil.

Bundchen's other big project for the year is raising her son, Benjamin Rein: "I wanted him to be called River because I wanted something always flowing, immortal. My husband [Tom Brady] said, 'There's no way we're going to call him River.' But my father's name is Reinoldo, so it's a homage to him. And it's like water."

Gisele's mother is staying in their Boston guest room to help out - "I don't trust anyone else with Benjamin" - and Gisele hasn't left the apartment in six weeks - "too cold." In fact, she's kept herself out of the public eye for months. "I felt like my pregnancy was a sacred moment for me. I stayed in Boston and I didn't work apart from the contracts I have, and then I only let them use my face."
