Kate Moss Wears Spring 2012 Couture in the Latest Issue of Vogue

>> It doesn't get much better than this dreamy Vogue editorial featuring Kate Moss in the very best of the season's haute couture. Styled by Grace Coddington and photographed by Tim Walker at the Ritz Paris, these pictures are just plain gorgeous.

This Summer, the Ritz will close its doors for an unprecedented two-year renovation. In honor of the hotel's storied fashion history (Coco Chanel lived there, after all), Walker photographed Moss in a bevy of beautiful couture dresses by Alexander McQueen, Dior, and Giambattista Valli, among others. Moss looks so at home in all of the pictures - and that might be because she's spent a lot of time at the Ritz.

"When I was with Johnny Depp, he always stayed there. I had an apartment in Paris at the time, but he said, 'No, we're staying at the Ritz,' so he came by and swept me up to the Ritz - he didn't want to slum it in my apartment!"

Agyness Deyn Returns to Blonde and British Vogue

>> Agyness Deyn is back on the scene - and so is the bleach blonde crop that originally helped make her a model of the moment. After sporting a buzz cut and then a dirty blonde shag in recent months, Deyn was snapped last week with a lighter shade and more feminine cut.

Deyn is also slowly working her way back into modelling: she's in Vogue UK's May 2011 issue - her first appearance in the magazine in two years - shot by Tim Walker in the Namib Desert. But she's not giving up those film ambitions. James Franco recently shot her for a project, and though she remains coy about upcoming work, Deyn says: "I've done some short films last year, which were great, and I worked with amazing people. I've got a few projects coming up."

W Trumps Vogue in 2011 ASME Nominations

>> Stefano Tonchi's take on W has received its share of mixed reactions, but the magazine's March 2011 issue had newsstand sales of 28,000 copies, up 5.4 percent from last March (the same month Tonchi was named W editor), and it received more nominations than any other fashion magazine this morning for the 2011 National Magazine Awards, announced by the American Society of Magazine Editors. Tonchi's first three issues - September, October, and November 2010 - are up for the Photography prize (notably the three issues Jody Quon worked on as creative director before she left the magazine); Tim Walker's fashion portfolio “The East Enders,” which ran in the September 2010 W relaunch, is up in the Feature Photography category; and W is also nominated alongside Vogue (that magazine's sole nod) in the Fashion, Service and Lifestyle “women’s interest” category. Sofia Coppola Shot Upcoming Miss Dior Cherie Commercial Featuring Natalie Portman

>> As Marion Cotillard's Lady Dior saga is coming to a close - her final installment of ads, "Lady Grey," just debuted with a short film directed by John Cameron Mitchell - Natalie Portman's own Dior saga is just beginning. Portman's upcoming Miss Dior Cherie campaign was just announced and will break on TV and in print in March. Tim Walker and Sofia Coppola, the team who worked on the launch of former Miss Dior Cherie face Maryna Linchuk back in 2008, are back to do the print and TV ads, respectively, with Portman. Of her co-star in the TV ads, Portman said: "I felt like a big old cougar. He's, like, 20."

Photographer Tim Walker Working on First Feature Length Film

>> Whimsical photographer Tim Walker did his first film, a 20-minute short dubbed The Lost Explorer, together with Mulberry, have screened it in both London and New York, but now he's got his sights set on a longer foray. “We’re working on a feature length now,” Walker said at Monday's New York screening. “We haven’t found our script yet, but we’re looking and it’s going to be the same team. The cinematographer, Robbie Ryan, he’s amazing. He gets the vision. First Look: Stefano Tonchi's September 2010 W

>> Stefano Tonchi's W revamp involves a new italic logo; a new tagline - "it’s not just women’s fashion, but the world of style and, more exactly, our five Ws: the who, the what, the where, the when and the why in the world of style"; and a new direction - "It’s more about fashion in the context of contemporary culture."

The September 2010 issue, which gives a first look at Tonchi's front to back W makeover, features up-and-coming actresses Kat Dennings (Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, Kenneth Branagh's upcoming Thor), Jessica Chastain (Terrence Malick's upcoming The Tree of Life), Yaya DaCosta (The Kids Are All Right, Tron: Legacy), Greta Gerwig (Greenberg), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), Jennifer Lawrence (Winter's Bone, the upcoming X-Men: First Class), Emma Roberts, and Zoe Kravitz in three triple-page foldout covers, which according to Tonchi the magazine has never done before, photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The main cover headline reads "Great Expectations" because Tonchi "wanted to have some self-irony, because there are so many expectations about what this W will be," and Lynn Hirschberg's name is listed on the cover because Tonchi "want[s] to put writers’ names on the cover. The content - the writers - are going to have a strong place in the magazine."

Stefano Tonchi Denies Any Anna Dello Russo Move to W

>> A number of rumors have swirled around, postulating that Stefano Tonchi asked close friend Anna Dello Russo to take the fashion director position at W - she was even spotted in the magazine's offices recently. But Tonchi denied to Daily Front Row that he had asked Dello Russo to replace current W fashion director Alex White (who remains from the pre-Tonchi era): "I love Anna, but she has a great job at Japanese Vogue that she quite likes, and I don’t have any idea to actually move her to New York. She’s a good friend, but I didn’t really even have a conversation with her about this seriously. She’s a fashion director, but she’s not necessarily the one that’s doing shoots and maybe that’s what I’m looking for. Alex is doing that, and that’s what we need at W."
