There were superstars (Julianne Moore, Sarah Jessica Parker), icons (Carine Roitfeld, Roberto Cavalli), and way too many supermodels to count - Heidi Klum, Cindy Crawford, Molly Sims, Erin Heatherton, and Anja Rubik, just to name a few. Cavalli, who was honored at the event, offered insight into his newfound passion: social media. "I discovered I love to write. It's a new emotion," the designer explained. Here's a First Look at the Marni For H&M Ad Campaign

>> Is Imogen Poots the face of Marni For H&M? This ad - which recently surfaced on The Fashion Spot - features what appears to be the British actress lounging in a leopard print-filled room, wearing a super-shiny paisley ensemble. A QR code in the bottom left corner directs viewers to the campaign video, which - as WWD confirmed last month - was shot by Sofia Coppola. While it is yet to be confirmed that the star of Coppola's video is the star of this ad campaign, we do know one thing: Coppola filmed the video last October in Marrakesh - and judging by the Moroccan-style tile work in the background of this image, it looks like this photo may have been shot there as well.

Karlie Kloss Doesn't Follow Trends, Buys Chanel Bags as Gifts

She walked her first Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in November, got nearly nude for Vogue Italia in December, and fronted the most recent Oscar de la Renta campaign this January. With so much fashion at her fingertips, one might assume the supermodel-in-the-making has some strong beliefs about her own style choices. Not so, says Kloss in a recent New York Times piece. "I don't follow trends so much . . . I think I'm still finding my look," she explains. And, while Kloss admits to the occasional splurge - a Prada dress and Kurt Geiger boots are among her recent purchases - she also has a frugal side. "As much as I enjoy and appreciate luxury items, I'm also a total cheapskate. I'm always throwing in a hat from H&M or a Forever 21 T-shirt."

The thriftiness, however, doesn't extend to gift-giving - especially when it comes to family members. "For my younger twin sisters' birthday and my mom's birthday, I bought everybody Chanel bags. Now all the girls in my family have one. Karl gave me one last season, which is how I got my baby. I'm going to be buried with that bag."

Valentino: The Last Emperor Hits US Theaters

>> Valentino Garavani may have retired from fashion - or maybe not, there are rumors that he had a hand in the Fall 2009 Valentino collection - but either way, he's been a busy man promoting the impending US premiere of Valentino: The Last Emperor tomorrow, March 18, in New York. He does, however, say he's "extremely happy to have quit from fashion. All of the designers are doing the eighties. I hate the eighties. I did it, and I hate it. When I go to see my dresses of the eighties, I vomit.” Instead, he's appearing on Oprah, The Martha Stewart Show, receiving a Rodeo Drive Walk of Style award, and contemplating designing for opera and ballet.

As for the movie, Matt Tyrnauer, the documentary's director, promises "one explosion after the other. Valentino is very impatient. He’s a Taurus. He loves the drama. There are divo moments and there are tantrums, and a lot of them are directed at the camera. It’s sort of like a cross between a hurricane and a cyclone." Which made it interesting when he first showed Valentino and his partner Giancarlo Giammetti the director's cut: "It was not easy. To tell you the truth, they kind of freaked out. We had some healthy discussions and multiple screenings over the course of several months. And they have come to accept it."

You've probably seen the pug-filled trailer by now, but another clip is below, featuring Karl Lagerfeld telling Valentino after his show, "That's the way it should be done. Valentino: The Last Emperor, and His Pugs

>> "I don't care about the collection. My dogs are much more important," Valentino Garavani exclaims during one scene of Valentino: The Last Emperor. The designer is supposed to be the star of the documentary, which is still making the film festival rounds, but from the clips that have appeared so far, his six pugs - Milton, Monty, Maude, Margot, Maggie and Molly - seem to steal the show. One "little idiot," as Valentino calls her, urinates during photo shoot for the movie poster below, and all six get taken wherever their master goes, with dog butler in tow.

Aldridge, 26, is reportedly about three months along, and, like Ambrosio, was already pregnant when she walked the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show back in November. This will be the first child for Aldridge, who married longtime boyfriend - and Kings of Leon front man - Caleb Followill last May.

>> Natalia Vodianova and her new boyfriend, Antoine Arnault, (son of LVMH head Bernard Arnault) haven't been snapped together since August, when a vacation in Ibiza tipped off their romantic relationship. But last night they were back in the public eye. Vodianova, a face of the LVMH-owned Guerlain, hosted a private sale of jewelry she created with designer Yulia Fosty at the brand's flagship in Paris. Proceeds for The Russian Fairy Tale collection, as it was called, went to the Naked Heart Foundation, which Vodianova founded to finance playgrounds and support centers for underprivileged children in Russia.
