>> The end of London Fashion Week nears, so where are Cato van Ee, Madeline Kragh, and Austria Alcantara? Madeline's back in New York - she got to London and was deported because she didn't have her passport stamped. Austria made it through customs, but she's already tired - and Milan and Paris are still to come. As for Cato, she's having the most success: At least seven shows this Fashion Week, and her mom even came to watch her walk at Christopher Kane. Will anyone take the biggest casting coup of all season - Prada? That's for the next episode to tell.

Armand Basi One Spring 2009 Meets You Halfway There

>> Sheer is still the word, and Markus Lupfer made it his business to play with the idea as much as possible. His Armand Basi One line showcased transparent tops, see-through skirts, and even wisp-thin pants, all tempered by more substantive, structural pieces. Perhaps most eye-catching were the two-faced Rei Kawakubo-inspired looks, leaving Sessilee Lopez and Daul Kim half-covered up, half-exposed.

Kate Moss Pops In at Vivienne Westwood Spring 2009

She took an impromptu runway stroll for her friend's The House of Blue Eyes fashion show earlier this month, and now she's turned up front row at Vivienne Westwood this evening - a position she hasn't taken since viewing the Topshop Unique line at London Fashion Week two years ago.

Richard Nicoll Spring 2009: Awash with Colorblocking

>> Over in London today, Richard Nicoll carried on the "Malibu palette" that got started in New York. Vivid pink and tangerine colorblocked their way through the parade, fading into muted shades of blue and gray. This collection seems like London's answer to Francisco Costa's Calvin Klein - Nicoll was inspired by nineties minimalism paired with fifties modernism, after all.

Louise Goldin Looks to the Future for Spring 2009

>> It's easy to put together a sheer skirt or two - but when you knit them, it's a whole different story. For her third runway collection, that's just what Louise Goldin did - she knits everything, even high-tech yarns like monofilaments and fiber optics. With that techie inclination in mind, it's no surprise that her Spring 2009 collection veered to the futuristic and was the result of hours spent in scientific libraries.

Christopher Kane Goes Ape for Spring 2009

>> Christopher Kane is never one to shy away from pushing the envelope - not even when it involves putting a gaping screenprinted image of a gorilla down the runway - his Spring 2009 collection is inspired by Planet of the Apes (and The Flinestones and Raquel Welch), after all. The circular theme he had going on with all the paillettes in his Fall 2008 collection carried over, this time in the form of layers and layers of chiffon semicircles. In some pieces it was beautiful, in other pieces, a little editing would have gone far - and as for all the marabou, well, we'll just ignore that.
