Jil Sander says she's very excited to be returning to her namesake label. "It feels very natural, even though it is like a miracle," the designer says. "At the moment, there seems to be a craving for authenticity and clear visions. I am confident that this is the time for modern sophistication, for attractive, wearable fashion which is true to the new century." The designer's first day back is tomorrow. [WWD]

Suzy Menkes (left) has spoken out about "the current state of fashion," saying that the recent brash of designer shakeups - which started last year with Galliano's ousting from Dior and has continued with Raf Simons's recent departure from Jil Sander - "leaves a queasy feeling." Menkes goes on to say: "this is not a game of chess . . . real people - especially sensitive designers - deserve not to be treated as pawns in someone else's game." She also mentions that Christopher Kane may be going to Dior. [New York Times]

Topshop's Sir Philip Green will celebrate his 60th birthday in March by flying 150 friends - including Kate Moss and Adele - to a top-secret tropical destination. The exact location has not been disclosed, but it reportedly houses a five-star resort with over 100 villas with private pools. [Vogue UK]

Kate Moss, Jamie Hince Spotted on Honeymoon in Corsica

>> It turns out the rumors that Sir Philip Green lent newlyweds Kate Moss and Jamie Hince a yacht for their honeymoon were right: the couple was photographed on Green's 206-foot boat, the Lionheart, Wednesday off the coast of Corsica (PopSugar has pictures).

Moss and Hince are said to be in the midst of a two-week Mediterranean cruise, which started when they took a private jet to Nice on Sunday followed by a 30-minute helicopter ride to Monaco, where they boarded the yacht. Since, they have reportedly made their way to Portofino, Italy; Cannes; Saint Tropez; and Corsica.

Kate Moss's Wedding Ceremony Is Under Way

>> Kate Moss's wedding ceremony is about to get under way - at 3:30 pm GMT at St Margaret's Parish Church near her Cotswalds home. Pictures of the wedding may be few and far between - Vogue has the exclusive for their September 2011 issue, with Mario Testino on camera duty - and the events are under security lockdown, with both neighboring villages of Southrop and Little Faringdon closed down. In fact, wedding guests and locals had to be issued permits to allow them to pass through roadblocks. However, PopSugar has a look at Kate on her way to the ceremony this afternoon in her veil.

Last night, Moss and Hince gave paparazzi a rare treat, posing for photographs outside The Swan pub in Southrop before their rehearsal dinner. Moss, in a vintage dress and blue Tabitha Simmons boots, looked visibly ecstatic, and apparently told the Daily Mail: "I was so nervous when I was practising signing the register. I've been so stressed out. My hands were shaking like an old woman's!" As for Hince, the couple's friend, Primal Scream bassist Mani said: "He's all right, he's marrying a supermodel. What's there to be nervous about?"

Moss is apparently set to wear a custom John Galliano gown to the ceremony, with Christian Louboutin shoes. Jamie Hince and his "best man," Kills bandmate Alison Mosshart, are confirmed to wear Yves Saint Laurent, while maid of honor Trish Simonon will sport Erdem. The newly-wedded couple and their 300 guests (including Naomi Campbell, Vivienne Westwood, Stefano Pilati, Stella McCartney, Sir Philip Green, and Edward Enninful) will then retreat to the model's home for the first of a three-day, reportedly £500,000 ($800,000) celebration.

Kate Moss's Future Capsule Collections at Topshop Will Focus on "Whatever Takes Her Fancy"

>> Kate Moss's last full Topshop collection hit the floor today, but Philip Green reiterated that the connection isn't over. “I’m not going anywhere and neither is she,” he said. “This collection still works, and our relationship hasn’t ended. But we now need to go away for a while, and think about how to do things differently. This collection takes a lot of hard work - she wants to do other things and so do I - but our relationship is as strong as ever.”

He's said in the past that a series of smaller capsule Kate Moss for Topshop collections, comprising 12 to 15 pieces instead of the current collection's 109 styles, will still come out two to three times per year: "That will be easier for us, we’ll do something fun."

So what does "something fun" entail? A Topshop spokesperson sheds a little light: "It could be some special pieces in cashmere, for example, or some amazing vintage treasures Kate has uncovered. Basically, it will be whatever takes her fancy. We want Kate's collections to be always surprising, like her - not formulaic and tied to seasons, like a machine."

Kate Moss's Last Full Topshop Collection Hitting Stores in October

>> Kate Moss has been doing collections for Topshop since 2007, and her 14th collection, out on Oct. 25, will be her last full collection for the brand, Sir Philip Green confirmed. The October release will include a few pieces from Moss's first Topshop collection which are still in demand.

Sources close to Moss described her existing Topshop contract as having “reached its natural conclusion." Green noted, "Kate has done 14 collections with us. It has been fantastic for us and fantastic for her, but they take more and more time and she cannot do this full-time any more." Earlier this year, Green had already decided to downsize the number of Kate Moss of Topshop collections from six to two.

Simon Fuller Leaves 19 Entertainment; Roland Mouret, Victoria Beckham, and Storm Models Could Be Affected by Company Buyout

>> Two months ago, Simon Fuller, the founder of 19 Entertainment, which owns controlling stakes in Storm Models, Victoria Beckham Collection, and RM by Roland Mouret, announced that he was leaving the company to start a new company pursuing film and other entertainment projects. He is currently retained as a consultant at 19 Entertainment.

For the past year or so, rumors have surrounded Fuller. Last June, it was announced he was teaming with Topshop's Sir Phillip Green for a global entertainment company; soon after, word came that Kate Moss might somehow be involved. Then, in November, Fuller was rumored to be pairing with Victoria Beckham for a New York-based modeling agency, which Beckham then denied.

But yesterday came news that 19 Entertainment's owner CKX (Fuller sold to CKX in 2005) is discussing the sale of 19 Entertainment to One Equity Partners, the private equity arm of JPMorgan Chase. Without Fuller and with a potential new owner, there's no confirmation on what the buyout might mean for Storm Models, Victoria Beckham Collection, and RM by Roland Mouret.

Spills and Thrills at the 2009 British Fashion Awards

>> Last night's British Fashion Awards provided a forum for all kinds of announcements - Christopher Bailey, who accepted both BFC Designer Brand of the Year for Burberry and BFC Designer of the Year, confirmed that Burberry will show in London again for Fall 2010; and Victoria Beckham said she's planning to take an active role in the BFC that in which she would mentor young designers or serve as an ambassador.

Christopher Kane was awarded BFC British Collection of the Year, Kate Moss won the publicly-voted London 25 Award, Peter Pilotto nabbed the Swarovski Emerging Talent Award for Ready-to-wear, and Georgia May Jagger took the BFC Model of the Year award - "Thank you so much to the BFC for picking me. I'd just like to say [fellow nominees] Daisy [Lowe] and Rosie [Huntington-Whiteley] are amazing girls and amazing models. Thanks to my mum for being the biggest inspiration."

But the model who really stole the night was Karen Elson, who, when onstage to present Grace Coddington with the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator, walked straight into the orchestra pit and fell four feet out of sight. She emerged minutes later, ”I am the clumsiest person on this earth. I cannot believe I just did that. That is the worst fall I have ever had. I might have broken a rib, but I’m fine.” After presenting, she took to the emergency room to see about her injuries - including a sprained thumb.

Christopher Kane Sends Out Gingham Girls for Spring 2010

>> A few days ago, Christopher Kane dropped an image of a doll he did over the summer as a hint at his Spring 2010 collection, adding that he channeled it "not in the literal sense, but more of a feeling." To a front row of Natalia Vodianova with Anna Wintour and Topshop's Sir Philip Green squeezed between Donatella Versace and Allegra Beck Versace, the end product came out all gauzy gingham in black and pastel colors, symmetrical front slits up to there, and Swarovski embellished floral brocade.

Jenny Shimizu walked in a tailored suit apparently made in collaboration with Savile Row tailors Norton & Sons; Lara Stone, who skipped New York Fashion Week altogether, made her first runway appearance of the day - her second was at Jaeger. And Kane, a self-professed fan of television, sent everyone home with a Gossip Girl season two DVD in their gift bags.

Kate Moss to Be Britain's Version of Ryan Seacrest?

>> There have been plenty of rumors surrounding Kate Moss's involvement with Sir Philip Green and Simon Cowell's new entertainment venture - the first batch of which Moss's agency Storm and Green wouldn't comment on, but an industry source close to Cowell and Green denied.

Last week, the Mirror reported that Kate has signed up to be on Cowell's new battle-of-the-bands-type TV show which gives a unsigned group a chance at fame; the show is supposedly going to be launched in the US with a British spinoff later. Now, People has picked up on the story - which is still unconfirmed - and says that Kate may be either a judge on the show or perhaps a host in the style of Ryan Seacrest.

The deal in the works - which is estimated to be worth $80 million - would allow Kate to be involved in developing and merchandising the program; she could also appear on Cowell's other shows like American Idol and Britain's Got Talent.
