Gisele Brings Her Clip Back to Sao Paulo

>> As promised, Gisele Bundchen returned to her old stomping grounds in Brazil yesterday to stomp the Colcci runway during Sao Paulo Fashion Week. She is spokesmodel for the brand, and returns to Brazil every season to kick off their runway.

Naomi Campbell was reportedly also scheduled to walk at Saolo Paulo Fashion Week during the Rosa Cha show on Saturday, but as we well know, she chose to do Dolce & Gabbana Men's instead.

Sao Paulo Fashion Week Invaded By Blackbook

Those crazy scenesters, curiously hitting up Sao Paulo Fashion Week instead of, we don't know, Santos. Well, somehow they managed to hop a flight and escape the city during this thunderstorming/heatwave/coldfront week of Resort shows. And darn it if we aren't going to acknowledge our envy of their proximity to a Fashion Week that isn't a seizure-inducing nightmare (i.e. New York). Same amount of alcohol, different atmosphere. Go figure. We can't conjure much of a trend forecast from the report (and you can't really expect to find much coverage elsewhere), but it does seem pretty darn fun. Of their entrance they wrote,

"This edition of SPFW coincided with Sao Paulo's Japan week, the 100th anniversary of the arrival of the first Japanese immigrants to Brazil (Sao Paulo has the largest population of Japanese people outside of Tokyo). The special Japan theme was enough to draw Japanese fashion bigshots like Kenzo Takada, Issey Miyake prez Nobuyuki Ota, clusters of elegant Japanese fashion women, gaggles of Japanese schoolgirls, and of course, us."

Gisele Bundchen Makes Post-Baby Return to Runway for Colcci

>> Six months after giving birth to son Benjamin, Gisele Bundchen hit the runway at Sao Paulo Fashion Week yesterday - her first time to walk since giving birth - to honor her contract with Brazilian brand Colcci. She walked three times, and told Brazilian newspaper Estado de Sao Paulo of the experience: "I was very nervous . . . but I'm very happy, everything went right." As for Benjamin: "He stayed home. Mom is working here, you can not bring [him]."

Gisele Bundchen May Just Be Pregnant, This Time

>> There was an outright denial from her husband Tom Brady last month, but sources have confirmed to People that Gisele Bundchen is indeed expecting. Although the couple hasn't confirmed the information themselves - and may not, given how they handled press surrounding their wedding - Gisele has indicated in the past that she wants a big family.

While Gisele's still hard at work and walked the Colcci runway for Sao Paulo Fashion Week earlier this week, as she typically does every season, she was outfitted in much baggier clothes that the typical midriff-baring tops and tight bustiers they give her. Also adding to suspicion: the fact that all her new Fall 2009 Loewe ads have her holding a bag over her midsection. But if People's source is correct, Gisele is said to be "ecstatic" and due early next year.

Gisele Bundchen Not Ready to Say "I Do," After All

>> For those of you who didn't believe the first or second reports of Gisele Bundchen's engagement that have circulated in the past month, feel affirmed. While down in her native Brazil walking the runways at Sao Paulo Fashion Week, Gisele denied any engagement - in fact, it was all a misunderstanding:

"I will realize the dream of marriage, to have children and a family, of course. I’m sorry [to] disappoint you, there is no date set yet. I’m in love and you will see my wedding on the right day.

I don’t know how people are so creative. First they said he proposed to me in a plane. Imagine, it was December 24th, Christmas, we were flying to Boston, then there was some champagne and we celebrated the date. Ready? Someone deduced I was getting engaged! I received more than 100 e-mails from friends commenting about the proposal. Now there’s a new rumor, that he proposed to me on last Friday. I wasn’t even there, how can that be true?"

When she does finally decide to get married, however, she may or may not have the wedding in Costa Rica, as was reported. "This talk of Costa Rica must be for the fact I have a house there. I don’t know yet if it’s going to be here or in another country, but what I know is that it’s going to be something small, a simple ceremony. I don’t like parties, I prefer something more intimate, just for the closest people."
