New additions to the New York Fashion Week schedule: Prabal Gurung and Simon Spurr of Spurr will stage runway shows rather than informal presentations for fall 2010.

Agyness Deyn will model the Paule Ka collection for La Redoute in spring advertisements.

New Vintage II, the environmentally-conscious capsule collection by Yves Saint Laurent, is now available in YSL stores.

Swaim and Christian Hutson will spend their second season at Generra, presenting the men's and women's collections during NYFW in February. The couple says the women's debut will have a "late Seventies look, with the energy of Fiorucci.

Rodarte's holiday collection for Target won't be available in stores until December 20 unless you're lucky enough to live near Manhattan, Washington DC, or San Francisco, where Target-To-Go popup stores will give early access to a few pieces from the lineup-the sequin ribcage dress, the black halter dress, the coral slipdress, and two bow belts. See the complete look book in the gallery below. Prices start from $9.99 for cutout knee high socks; the lace cardigans are $22.99, and most dresses will retail for $39.99.

>> Rodarte's Target lookbook is finally out, just a couple of weeks before the collection hits stores December 20 through January 31. Unless, of course, you have close access to Manhattan (Gansevoort and Washington Streets at the entrance of the High Line), San Francisco (Mint Plaza), or Georgetown in Washington DC: those three locales are getting Target-To-Go popup stores Dec. 11 through 13 (10 am to 8 pm), complete with the Rodarte for Target goods a week before the rest of the nation.

Part of the collection, which runs $9.99 for a pair of knee socks up to $79.99 - including plenty of Rodarte's signature netting on dresses for $39.99 - can be seen in high quality below, as modeled by Jamie Bochert, who is said to be the face of both Marc Jacobs and Lanvin Spring 2010.

Rodarte Signs On for Target Go International Line

>> Kate and Laura Mulleavy are the latest emerging designers to collaborate with Target for its Go International initiative. The 55 piece Rodarte for Target collection hits stores and target.com right in the middle of the holiday season on Dec. 20, staying through Feb. 6.

The brand is known for its ethereal, handmade pieces, not a commercial aesthetic, but a Target spokesman claims that the collection stays true to the Rodarte spirit:

“What you’ll notice is an amazing eye for detail. It’s very feminine, yet very modern. The collection incorporates a rich mix of patterns and fabrications and everything from sequins and bows to faux fur. The key with Rodarte is layering.”

The range in prices of the collection run from $9.99 for knee-highs to $79.99 for a leopard print jacket. Also included are “a variety of great holiday dresses,” according to the Target spokesman. “There are stand-alone pieces and pieces that can be worn together to create an ensemble by layering different patterns, textures and prints.”

Dresses from Luella Bartley, Rodarte, Proenza Schouler and More Go International Designers to Be Re-Released by Target in March

>> In celebration of its fifth year collaborating with designers, Target will re-release 34 dresses from 17 past Go International participants - to hit most Target stores and online at Target.com on March 13, 2011.

The Go International Designer Collective line, as its being called, will feature signature dresses from the past Target lines of Luella Bartley, Tara Jarmon, Paul & Joe, Behnaz Sarafpour, Proenza Schouler, Libertine, Alice Temperley, Erin Fetherston, Jovovich-Hawk, Rogan, Richard Chai, Jonathan Saunders, Thakoon, Tracy Feith, Rodarte, Zac Posen, and Tucker. Only Patrick Robinson of Gap declined the opportunity to work with Target again, saying he had other commitments. Images of the collection, which will be in stores through April 10, 2011, are expected to be available in February.

Last night at the Los Angeles screening for "Aanteni," the short film featuring Guinevere van Seenus that Rodarte did in collaboration with close friend Todd Cole, Cole revealed that he plans to shoot another short for the label next month, featuring the Fall 2010 Rodarte collection. “I never really understand what we do until I see how others interpret our work,” said Kate Mulleavy. “I trust Todd because we see things in the same way, but he takes it to the next level.” Also in attendance was Gia Coppola, who said she just shot a video for Zac Posen's Target collection, to hit the Internet later this month. >> "We were losers," Rodarte's Kate Mulleavy proclaimed to the audience who came to hear her and sister Laura get peppered with questions at FIT in New York Tuesday night. Kate was speaking of the time before she and Laura were designers, and instead were college graduates, sitting at home watching six films a day. Laura eventually picked up a waitressing gig, but as for Kate, she did, in her own words, "nothing." Later, Kate added of their current state: "Technically, we shouldn't even be up here. In a weird way, it's like we had a stream of circumstances where I look at now and think, 'This is so crazy that this happened to us.' But we're probably the least likely people that it should have happened to."
