Vogue Paris Takes Surprisingly Commercial Turn with May 2010 Covers April 16, 2010 2:54 pm >> It's not unusual for Carine Roitfeld to throw a celebrity cover into the Vogue Paris mix every once and a while, but most covers are still captured with models, and if a celebrity is featured, it's in a very fashion-forward way. Which is why the magazine's May 2010 issue, guest-edited by Penelope Cruz, seems an anomaly. There are three covers, the first with Cruz, Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, Kate Winslet, Naomi Watts, and Gwyneth Paltrow, the second capturing Cruz with Bono, and the third showing Cruz with Streep — all featured are either wearing Armani for Project (Red) tees or Gap Product (Red) tees.
