Ecco Domani announced their 2009 Fashion Foundation award winners today. The recipients are Lyn Devon, Matthew Ames, Cushnie et Ochs by Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs, and Ohne Titel by Alex Adams for womenswear, Corpus by Jerrod Cornish & Keith Richardson for menswear, and Monique Pean for jewelry, Eviana Hartman and Samantha Pleet for sustainable design.

WWD talks with Jane Birkin about her cashmere pieces for Lutz & Patmos and her oldest pair of UGG boots. We never thought we'd say this but UGGs are getting a lot of good press these days.

Billion Dollar Babes is jumping on the bandwagon and starting their own sample sale e-commerce site.

It was recently announced that the magazine would go down to two issues per year and now there's a rumor that Men's Vogue will no longer be publishing magazines at all.

Conde Cutbacks, Men's Vogue Shrinks, Teen Vogue Pops Up

>> Anna Wintour is stepping out into a new, less plentiful, world: Conde Nast editors have been told to cut their staffs and budgets each by five percent, which means Vogue, Teen Vogue, and W will all be trimming some fat. In the past, the Conde Nast philosophy has been to place the burden of cutbacks on the titles performing least well, but this time, it's not so - "This has a little more urgency on some level," a source told The New York Observer - so Vogue is definitely included.

Meanwhile, one of her pet projects, Men's Vogue, is being scaled back from ten issues to two issues a year, with its operations being folded back into Vogue, it was announced today. Before the official word came, a source predicted that Men's Vogue would be a "small, small, small version of what it is. And the small version will exist for nothing more than for Anna to save face."

The other magazine Anna is editorial director of, Teen Vogue, is trying out a new way to keep those ad dollars coming. Nov. 28 through Dec. 26, the magazine is hosting a pop-up shop, The Haute Spot, in the Mall at Short Hills in New Jersey, where girls will be able to relax, try on clothes, drink smoothies, and charge their cellphones and iPods; over twenty of their advertisers are participating. If it's successful, maybe it will ease some of the the burn Anna is feeling after the Men's Vogue fiasco.

Rachel Zoe turns vampire - complete with fangs and paper-pale skin - for the latest issue of Love Magazine. "We're literally dying!" her team tweeted about the shoot. [Grazia]

Sienna Miller is definitely pregnant with boyfriend Tom Sturridge. Her sister, Savannah, confirmed the rumors today, saying, "She is doing really well and we are all really happy about it, Tom is an amazing guy." Sienna, 30, and Sturridge, 26, have been dating for over a year. [Vogue UK]

Though she says Mary-Kate and Ashley don't style her, Elizabeth Olsen does seem to wear a lot of clothing from the line they named after her. This month, Lizzie sports a striped Elizabeth & James top on the cover of Asos Magazine. [FabSugar]

Victoria's Secret's New High-End Line, Alice Dellal's New Look, and Jessica Chastain's Oscar Phone Call

Victoria's Secret has launched its first high-end lingerie line, called The Victoria's Secret Designer Collection. Though it includes pieces that were shown during November's fashion show, the line had been kept top secret - until now. It's available at VictoriasSecret.com, and retails between $38 and $298. Speaking of lingerie, Bar Refaeli is the latest model to launch her own line of intimates. The label is called Under.me and will be available online in the UK for Valentine's Day. Priced from $7.50 to $25, Refaeli says the line is based on what "I like and find cute". [WWD]

Alice Dellal - the new face of Chanel's Boy Bag - has been looking a lot less "punk" lately. At the Chanel couture show (left), she wore a long skirt and a lace top. She kept her mismatched nails though. [Telegraph]

Also trying a new look: Lara Stone, who donned a coiffed brown wig and super-dark eyebrows to pose with actor Aaron Eckhart for Peter Lindbergh's lens. [Vogue]

Jessica Chastain found out about her Oscar nod while sitting front row at the Giorgio Armani Privé couture show in Paris. She was seated near Cameron Diaz and Roberta Armani, who congratulated her with a standing ovation. [People]

Models and Their Men Get In Front of the Camera for Vogue's February 2011 Issue

>> In anticipation of Valentine's Day, Vogue had Patrick Demarchelier capture six models and their men for the February 2011 issue.

Among those featured: the newly affianced models Anja Rubik and Sasha Knezevic, who went to Central Park on their first official date. According to Rubik: "We actually came wearing identical Rag & Bone shirts and Helmut Lang jeans." There's Coco Rocha and her husband, James Conran, who are celebrating their first Valentine's Day married by going to see Prince - his favorite musician - in concert; and Angela Lindvall and Mark Wystrach, an actor and co-founder of People's Shoe (a line of eco-friendly footwear). They had their first date two years ago, Lindvall says - "We took his Volkswagen, went surfing, ate shrimp burritos" - and now reside together on seven acres in Los Angeles's Topanga Canyon, where they've planted an organic garden and 60 fruit trees.

Alessandra Ambrosio and her fiance, Jamie Mazur, who owns a denim company, met at a mutual friend's wedding in Rio de Janeiro. But they didn't start dating until two years later, when they ran into each other at Coachella. Ambrosio says of Mazur: "I always have new jeans, and because he has to follow trends, I get the best gifts - like Louboutins and vintage sunglasses. One Valentine's Day, he learned all my favorite Pearl Jam songs and serenaded me."

And rounding out the bunch, there's Aminata Niaria, who met Laurence Dennis (he works at British Embassy in Paris) at a Halloween party he hosted five years ago. He was a mummy, she was Catwoman. And models Bonnie Chen and Rock Ji, who met backstage two years ago at Beijing fashion show. Soon after, he surprised her by showing up at the University of Pennsylvania campus, where she was majoring in psychology.

Altuzarra Takes Home the Big Prize at the 2011 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards

>> Last night at Skylight studios in New York, the 2011 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winners were announced. Joseph Altuzarra, a favorite the past two years running, took home this year's prize - $300,000 and a year-long mentorship. But the impact of the award lasts much longer than a year, CFDA president Diane von Furstenberg explained: "Once you are in the Fashion Fund, we will protect you and continue to provide you with opportunities.” Pamela Love and Creature of the Wind's Shane Gabier and Christopher Peters were named runners-up, collecting $100,000 each.

Calvin Klein gave this year's keynote speech, focusing on his own days as a young designer. “I started out with less money than probably all of you nominees tonight,” he told the crowd. Of coming up in the '60s and ’70s, he noted: “I dealt with truck men, unions, and gangsters. I got a call from the Gambinos one day, telling me, ‘We are your truck men.’”

Altuzarra's friend and the 2008 Fashion Fund winner, Alexander Wang, told him to "just zone out" during Klein's speech, and just before Rooney Mara announced Altuzarra as winner, von Furstenberg went over to the designer's table, pinched his cheek, and asked him something in French. “She asked me if I went to pee,” Altuzarra told The New York Times. When the announcement finally came, Altuzarra told the audience, “I’m so grateful and humbled.” Love, while accepting her award, announced: “I didn’t prepare anything because I didn’t expect this - and I’m shaking!” before running backstage to hug her fiancé, Matthew Nelson. And Gabier said to the crowd, “You’ve made us really happy and we hope to make you really proud.”

First Look - David Sims's Punky, Digitized Covers For Arena Homme+

>> "I feel the men's magazines lack energy. Everything feels so affected and fey and not real somehow," Ashley Heath, Arena Homme+ editorial director, proclaims. "These new covers are just an attempt to do something a bit different and eye-catching on the newsstand."

The magazine's two Fall 2011 covers - the issue hits newsstands tomorrow - are a hint at the 30-page portfolio inside, which David Sims shot, employing his friends, assistants, and models who caught his eye. "[The covers] come from this quite raw, punky, digital space," Heath explains. "I feel there's more reality in David playing about with shapes and colors and cheap computer effects - deconstructing fashion photography if you like - than there is in the status quo . . . You look at a painter like [Gerhard] Richter and how brutal he is; he'll switch from a beautiful canvas to thinking, 'How can I do the total opposite of that?' I think there's an element of that with David Sims's new work. He's handing in stunning fashion images to Grace Coddington [at Vogue], then working on playful, experimental stuff for Arena Homme+."

Claudia Schiffer Addresses Husband Matthew Vaughn's Rumored Relationship with January Jones

Some have suggested that Vaughn is the unnamed father of January Jones's baby, which she conceived while filming the Vaughn-directed X-Men: First Class. See All Four Covers From Max Pearmain and Ashley Heath's New Edition of Arena Homme Plus

>> With its new editorial team, the biannual Arena Homme Plus has become something of a brother publication to POP - they now share the same editorial director, Ashley Heath, and the magazine's new editor in chief, Max Pearmain, used to be acting menswear editor at POP.

Heath and Pearmain's first edition of Arena Homme Plus hits newsstands next Monday, April 11 in the UK (and Monday, April 18 for the rest of the world), boasting four different covers, one each playfully dubbed "Stephen," "Stevie," "Steve," or "Steven."

"The men's fashion magazine market has become so staid and predictable," Pearmain notes of his vision for the magazine. "It was actually more inspiring in many ways 15 years ago when there was just L'Uomo, Vogue Hommes, and Arena Homme Plus . . . We wanted to inject some surprise and some passion and some playfulness back into this world."

Pearmain himself styled New Order's Stephen Morris for the "Stephen" cover, artist Clunie Reid created scrawling artwork for the "Stevie" cover (left), David Sims photographed the "Steve" cover, and Steven Klein, of course, captured the "Steven" cover. The Klein version of the issue - or Homme+ PLUS as it has been christened - comes with 45 extra pages of more "hardcore" content. Some of it has already been posted online (NSFW) and will only be sold in selected independent retailers and online.

The move back to Arena Homme Plus is something of a coming home for Heath, who used to edit the magazine himself: "It's been fun to return. I really built that magazine on blood, sweat, and tears back in the day, so it was great that David Sims, Steven Klein, and others from the glory days returned and contributed such strong, strange work. There's this sense of travel, of art and design, of the way the world is changing . . . We changed the paper stocks a bit and did that 'special sections' thing I'm into recently. The magazine is still niche, but it will appeal to a broader cross-section of stylish men."

Alongside contributions from Sims and Klein, the new issue also features work by Wolfgang Tillmans, Collier Schorr, and Ari Marcopoulos.
