>> It's t-minus three weeks until the Spring 2009 fashion weeks get under way, and Style.com is getting ready to kick it into high gear.
Come the beginning of September, Candy Pratts Price won't be the only one with an avatar on the site — Lily Donaldson, Margherita Missoni, Chanel Iman, Jefferson Hack, Leigh Lezark, and Tinsley Mortimer are all signed on to provide front row play-by-play during fashion month, earning themselves each their own — hopefully cartoon — avatar. If that isn't enough for you, Coco Rocha will also be playing video reporter from the tents and backstage during New York Fashion Week.
And this one is for all of you who hate waiting until midnight for all the runway slideshows to be posted: Style.com editor in chief Dirk Standen promises the images will be published faster thanks to updated technology, and viewers will have the option to see the shows in a full-screen format.

>> Tom Ford was never one for low-dollar apparel; As he introduced reporters to his new store in Milan yesterday, where suits
will sell for upwards of $3,800, he himself was wearing $10,000 boots.
Later, the man of the hour and his business partner through thick and thin, Domenico De Sole, celebrated the store opening at a Milanese palazzo with a chatty Anna Wintour,
Tom Ford campaign model (NSFW) Jon Kortajarena, and a camera shy Miuccia Prada. Full gallery of the festivities below.

>> It's not often that photographers get photographed themselves, but that's just what happened at the
L'Uomo Vogue 40th Anniversary Celebration Party last night in Milan: Steven Klein stepped up for a photo op with Alexander McQueen and Natalia Vodianova!
A full gallery of the event below, including plenty of faces that are used to being in front of the camera: Anna Wintour, Naomi Campbell, Franca Sozzani . . .
