>> Karl Lagerfeld first shot Maison Michel's lookbook back in 2009 (the millinery's art director Laetitia Crahay doubles as Chanel's accessories designer), and now he's back to capture the Spring 2011 Maison Michel collection, bringing some of his favorite faces along with him. In addition to highlighting the famous Maison Michel bunny ears, the lookbook also features new pieces like sculpted metal headbands, floral hair pins, and posh trilby toppers modeled by the likes of Olivier Theyskens, Irina Lazareanu, Leigh Lezark, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Lou Doillon and her son Marlowe, as well as Mark Ronson and girlfriend Josephine de la Baume. The complete lookbook, which features special pieces designed for Opening Ceremony, in the slideshow.

John Galliano Takes Dior to the '50s for Spring 2011 Couture

>> John Galliano stuck to his staples for Spring 2011 Christian Dior couture - a retro silhouette, this time inspired by illustrator Rene Gruau, and perennial Dior face Karlie Kloss opening, introduced to the audience with a rotation of the set. Mario Testino, Stella Tennant, Lou Doillon, Pedro Almodovar, Patrick Demarchelier, and Azzedine Alaia were all front row to take in the show, and Galliano took his bow in a cropped black wig and red-striped black tuxedo pants. Backstage, Martha Streck Tweeted, the models - including Iekeliene Stange and Angela Lindvall, who both made appearances - had to pose for Demarchelier afterwards.

Tom Ford's Womenswear Presentation Reportedly to Have Celebrity Models, But No Photos Will Be Released Until January

>> Lou Doillon isn't the only model of note in Tom Ford's womenswear relaunch preview on Sunday: The Daily reports that every model is a celebrity - Victoria Beckham and Beyonce Knowles are among those joining Doillon - and Ford is expected to walk the intimate group of guests through each look personally.

The entire thing is very hush-hush: only one photographer is allowed at the presentation - working directly under Ford - and photos aren't expected to be released until January - when the goods hit stores, in an effort to prevent counterfeit copies. Apparently everyone involved - from publicists to guests - have been required to sign confidentiality agreements.

UPDATE: Beckham is not partaking in the presentation, although Julianne Moore and Lauren Hutton reportedly are. [@jimshi809]

Isabel Marant Talks Her Stylist Emmanuelle Alt; Vanessa Bruno's Preparing Mini-Movie with Lou Doillon

>> At the opening last night of the Madeleine Vionnet retrospective in Paris - speaking of which, where are Rodolfo Paglialunga's first designs for Vionnet, which were promised in early June? - Vanessa Bruno told WWD she’s been working with director Stephanie Di Giusto on a four-minute mini-movie for her label starring Lou Doillon. The clip is to be screened in July before appearing online.

Meanwhile, the other French designer maintaining a contemporary line of chic basics, Isabel Marant, talked to Russh in their July/August 2009 issue about how she started working with her stylist and Vogue Paris fashion director Emmanuelle Alt:

It's funny because Emmanuelle and I kind of started out together a long time ago. I always admired her style and what she did for Vogue, but we lost contact for a while because she was overloaded with work. Four years ago her husband Franck Durand became my artistic director and I was always saying 'I love what your wife is doing, I would love to work together with her one day.' So it was little by little. Now we have done about five shows together. I love the vision she has for my clothes, she manages to put them together in a way that is a bit more sophisticated than what I did before . . . I love it when she goees tac, tac, tac... puts the different pieces together, and I'm like 'oh yeah, that's exactly it!'
