This bunch redefines outerwear, making each piece just as amazing as what's underneath it. Whether you're looking for plaid, houndstooth, fur, cropped, or a cape, Libertine has dreamed it up for Fall. A few nonouterwear pieces, including eye-catching accessories like colorful beaded necklaces, also made appearances on the catwalk. But the most important message from Libertine - besides that loud outerwear is in - is mix things up with prints, colors, and textures.

Johnson Hartig Displays Cool Prints and Covetable Coats For Libertine’s Fall 2011 Collection

>> Libertine last showed in 2009 via presentation, and it's been since 2006 that the label has done a runway show. But designer Johnson Hartig brought his clothes back to the catwalk today, with former Libertine design partner Cindy Greene (who left the label two years ago), Rodarte’s Kate Mulleavy, Thom Browne, and Meredith Melling Burke and her daughter Eloise (who happily snapped pictures of the whole event with her mother’s iPhone) all in attendance.

The collection was a welcome explosion of color - ranging anywhere from hot pink to yellow - and pieces like giant puff-sleeved tops, funky frocks, and bright three-quarter length coats all displayed Hartig’s inclination for a vivid Fall. A screenprint effect was splashed over tops, silk dresses, tweed overcoats, cropped trousers, and even tights. The rare times when color wasn’t present, Hartig turned to black and grey wool jackets adorned with gothic-inspired embellishments. To finish off the looks, eye-catching tights and an amazing colorful selection of colorblock platform booties - designed by Hartig himself.

Dresses from Luella Bartley, Rodarte, Proenza Schouler and More Go International Designers to Be Re-Released by Target in March

>> In celebration of its fifth year collaborating with designers, Target will re-release 34 dresses from 17 past Go International participants - to hit most Target stores and online at Target.com on March 13, 2011.

The Go International Designer Collective line, as its being called, will feature signature dresses from the past Target lines of Luella Bartley, Tara Jarmon, Paul & Joe, Behnaz Sarafpour, Proenza Schouler, Libertine, Alice Temperley, Erin Fetherston, Jovovich-Hawk, Rogan, Richard Chai, Jonathan Saunders, Thakoon, Tracy Feith, Rodarte, Zac Posen, and Tucker. Only Patrick Robinson of Gap declined the opportunity to work with Target again, saying he had other commitments. Images of the collection, which will be in stores through April 10, 2011, are expected to be available in February.

Christian Dior Fall 2010: Libertine Ladies and Anna Wintour's Last Show This Paris Fashion Week

>> With the flashing lights and soundtrack of a thunderstorm, plus thumping hoofbeats and the braying of a horse, the Dior show was off this morning. The theme? "The Seduction of the Libertine," based on the 17th century Earl of Rochester - who John Galliano came out dressed like at the end, in poet's shirt and jodhpurs tucked into riding boots - and his courtesans.

“This season Dior takes up the heroic spirit of French romanticism and Mr. Dior’s beloved English riding tweeds. I was inspired by the drape, line and cut as well as the characters of the era. I wanted to create a new luxury, and new lover, in the romance of the seductive libertine of Dior,” Galliano explained backstage.

Anna Dello Russo took in the cape coats and printed chiffon dresses stomping by on Coco Rocha, Jessica Stam, Chanel Iman, Ana Beatriz Barros, and Karlie Kloss while sitting on the floor, and the show appeared to mark Anna Wintour's last this Paris Fashion Week - she was nowhere to be seen later at Lanvin.

Maria Cornejo, Costella Tagliapietra, Monique Pean Named Inaugural CFDA/Lexus Eco Fashion Challenge Honorees

>> Last night, Maria Cornejo, Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra of Costello Tagliapietra, and Monique Pean were named the inaugural winners of the CFDA & Lexus Hybrid Living Eco Fashion Challenge.

Each had to demonstrate a commitment to ecologically responsible design, with a minimum of 25 percent of their collection produced in an environmentally-friendly manner: Pean uses recycled gold and sustainable buffalo horn; Costello Tagliapietra creates fabric dyes in an eco-friendly way; and Cornejo employs sustainable manufacturing practices and uses fabric like cupro, which is typically discarded during the production of cotton. In turn, each was awarded $25,000 from Lexus to use toward their Fall 2011 presentation in February.

The other 2010 finalists included Alabama Chanin, Behnaz Sarafpour, Libertine by Johnson Hartig, Marcia Patmos, Organic by John Patrick, Slow and Steady Wins the Race by Mary Ping, and Subversive Jewelry by Justin Giunta.

Menswear-inspired suits and separates were remixed
with tuxedo details creating a decadent directional statement. DKNY's tuxedo
striped cape coat will make for a standout topper, and we can't stop
swooning over Derek Lam's bright red and black trousers.

Preen's multi-colored mash-up is a genius take on dressed-up daywear, and we're
obsessing over DVF's stunning horizontal striped dress.

Peplum detailing, no longer just for French aristocrats, received a fresh
face lift for Fall. Thakoon's fanciful take on the lumberjack plaid vest was a pure stroke
of genius. Other notable pieces hail from Marc Jacobs's bedazzled ensemble,

Hemlines are getting longer but that doesn't mean you won't be showing
some skin. We foresee ourselves wearing these thigh-high slits - seen from Michael Kors,
Diane von Furstenberg, Jenni Kayne, and Jason Wu - to swanky dinner soirees
