Karlie Kloss Skips New York Fashion Week, Brad Goreski Spills All in His New Book, and Kanye West's Latest Fashion Project

Brad Goreski's new biography, Born to Be Brad, hits bookstores March 6 - and it's reportedly full of some surprisingly sordid details, including cocaine and alcohol abuse. "I was in our bathroom, staring in the mirror, and I didn't recognize myself," Goreski writes. [Stylecaster]

Speaking of March 6, that's the day Kanye West will be taking his second stab at Paris Fashion Week. Now, rumors are swirling that he may also be planning a line for Topshop. However, Topshop's CEO Sir Phillip Green, who was spotted having lunch with West in London, denies that a collaboration is in the works. [Fashionista]

Looks like Karlie Kloss is skipping New York Fashion Week; The Daily Beast's Isabel Wilkinson confirmed the news today via Twitter. "Karlie Kloss won't walk in New York Fashion Week this season because of an 'engagement that has come up,' says her spokesperson," Wilkinson said. [Styleite]

James Franco has directed and shot the latest 7 For All Mankind campaign, featuring Lily Donaldson, Henry Hopper, and Amber Anderson. The campaign - which the brand describes as an "innovative multimedia experience that embodies the brand's California roots and 'forever cool' aesthetic" - launches on a dedicated You Tube channel Feb. 15. Despite a very successful design career, Stella McCartney doesn't think of herself as famous. "I don't think many people recognize me," the designer recently said. "I guess, I grew up with one of the most famous people in the world, so for me, I don't really see it." McCartney goes on to say that she still gets excited when seeing her designs on strangers in public: "I'm embarrassing when I see someone in the street with one of my bags, I'm like 'nice bag'. CFDA Fashion Fund winner Joseph Altuzarra has quite a sweet tooth. The designer - who shows his Fall 2012 collection this Saturday - recently divulged the 12 things he can't live without. Gucci's Frida Giannini, James Franco Have Cultivated a Different Kind of Designer-Brand Face Relationship

As WWD put it: "Celebrities with contractual ties to the fashion world tend to take those connections very seriously - always walking the red carpet flawlessly dressed and speaking perfectly on point. Which is why it’s so refreshing to see James Franco have fun with the hand that feeds him."

The duo was captured dancing together over a year ago, when Franco was first announced as the face of Gucci by Gucci Pour Homme, at the launch party. They appear together on a Fall 2009 i-D cover, arms around each other, which came out this month. And last Friday, when Franco presented Giannini with Fashion Group International's fashion award, he "made a splash" according to T's Horacio Silva. James recalled: "The last time we [Franco and Giannini] worked together, we ended the day by jumping into a pool with our clothes on!"

The latest signal of their more-lax-than-most business partnership comes courtesy of a video posted yesterday on FunnyorDie.com, in which Franco spoofs his own Gucci by Gucci Pour Homme TV commercial. No word on whether he obtained permission from the brand before filming, but he mispronounces the label as "Gookie" or "Guckie" all throughout the video.

Frida Giannini Gets in Touch with James Franco's "Seductive Side"

Last night at the fragrance launch in Milan, Frida seemed to be tempted by James' "seductive side" . . . either that, or she was having a really good time. Sure, she was playing a good hostess to the actor, but they were also photographed dancing together, chatting the night away on a couch, and even . . . dare I say . . . getting a little more touchy-feely than professionalism calls for. Agyness Deyn Returns to Blonde and British Vogue

Deyn is also slowly working her way back into modelling: she's in Vogue UK's May 2011 issue - her first appearance in the magazine in two years - shot by Tim Walker in the Namib Desert. But she's not giving up those film ambitions. James Franco recently shot her for a project, and though she remains coy about upcoming work, Deyn says: "I've done some short films last year, which were great, and I worked with amazing people. I've got a few projects coming up."
