>> Karl Lagerfeld first shot Maison Michel's lookbook back in 2009 (the millinery's art director Laetitia Crahay doubles as Chanel's accessories designer), and now he's back to capture the Spring 2011 Maison Michel collection, bringing some of his favorite faces along with him. In addition to highlighting the famous Maison Michel bunny ears, the lookbook also features new pieces like sculpted metal headbands, floral hair pins, and posh trilby toppers modeled by the likes of Olivier Theyskens, Irina Lazareanu, Leigh Lezark, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Lou Doillon and her son Marlowe, as well as Mark Ronson and girlfriend Josephine de la Baume. >> This evening at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, fashion's finest gathered for the 2010 CFDA Awards. Jak & Jil's Tommy Ton snapped photos of the arrivals, J.Crew's Jenna Lyons introduced herself to Isabel Toledo, and the ever-punctual Anna Wintour was later than usual, appearing after the pre-awards cocktails were in full swing.

Wintour put on her signature shades for the ceremony itself, but off they came when International Award winner Christopher Bailey thanked her (along with Tom Ford and Donna Karan) - in fact, she was beaming. Later, she got on stage to present Michael Kors with his Lifetime Achievement Award - he received a standing ovation - and told a story about how she went on a trip to Jamaica with Kors; when Ralph Lauren arrived, Kors got in the ocean and stayed there for hours because he didn't want Lauren to see him in his swimsuit.

Speaking of Lauren, he received the Popular Vote for the second year running - although he wasn't in attendance this evening. Sarah Jessica Parker, dressed in a custom gown by new Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton, presented Lee Alexander McQueen posthumously with the Special Tribute Award, noting that the designer had "the most beautiful hands I've ever seen," before models took the stage in the designer's last works.

Accepting her Fashion Icon Award, Iman thanked her parents for the longest neck on any model at any go-see in the world and joked to husband David Bowie: "Move over. You're not the only icon in the house." And finally, Marc Jacobs scored the Womenwear Award - he thanked bloggers for his win and said to Robert Duffy: "i want to thank [Duffy], without you this dream would never have come true."

Mulberry's Glastonbury Book Launch Brings Out Models Galore

Last night's Mulberry-sponsored party celebrating the launch of Venetia Dearden's book Glastonbury, Another Stage at Milk Studios's penthouse was chock-full of statuesque revelers, though two models in particular seemed to steer clear of each other. Agyness Deyn stayed ensconced with a group of friends, while on the other side of the bash her ex-fiance Albert Hammond, Jr. held hands - possibly in a friendly way? - with Irina Lazareanu. Elsewhere, Alek Wek and Jacquelyn Jablonski mingled near Chanel Iman and her boyfriend Ryan Leslie. Leigh Lezark and Michelle Trachtenberg arrived together and stayed attached at the hip throughout the night. In the spirit of Venetia's publication, the event was complete with an indoor teepee and there was music aplenty. Brooklyn's Chairlift was the main attraction, with London socialite Jackson Scott's flamenco guitar act Mano de Dios as the opener.

Irina Lazareanu is working on her first fashion collection with Japanese retailer Seibu.

The Mulleavy sisters could be the next designers for Revillon, a position vacant since Peter Dundas left earlier this month.

Jean Paul Gaultier will receive an Inspiration Award for his lifetime contribution to men's fashion and the fight against Aids.

Despite yesterday's reports, Asim Abdullah, owner of Emanuel Ungaro, says the company is not for sale.

Tom Ford launches a beauty business with his Private Blend Lip Color collection. “This is my take on 12 classic lip colors,” Ford told WWD. “I took the most universally flattering colors that a woman can wear, and then I reimagined them in a modern and authoritative way."

Tom Ford is also quietly ramping up his womenswear team with new hires from Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, and shoe designer Michael Lewis.

>> Model Update: Who's Walking, Who's Not -'90s Calvin Klein model Jenny Shimizu made a runway return, closing the John Bartlett runway on Wednesday - the designer told The Daily of Shimizu: "[She's] really a muse for me. She depicts the kind of woman that I'm dressing. It's no frills, no high heels, no beading, no ruffles." And Jessica Miller is also said to be coming back to the runway. Irina Lazareanu, meanwhile, should be in a couple of front rows, but she's not walking, save for the runway appearance she made for Fashion for Relief this evening. Ali Stephens, too, is only walking a few shows because she's "not the typical skinny - I have hips. I love my body but I’m not one of the girls willing to starve themselves for fashion, so I do what shows I can but I don’t, pressure myself to fit into the sample sizes." Gareth Pugh confirmed that he will be showing a video directed by Ruth Hogben on Sept. 13 to "set the mood for [his] catwalk show that will take place as usual in Paris." Temperley London is taking their interactive Spring 2010 multimedia presentation on the road for the second time, starting in New York Sept. 15 before evolving in format for London Fashion Week and then again in Paris, where it will become an exhibit. The film aspect, plus stills and a behind-the-scenes cut will be readily available online on Temperley's new website.
