Chanel kicks off the Pre-Fall 2012 campaign season with a mesmerizing black-and-white spread starring Daria Strokous and styled by Carine Roitfeld. Decked out in the label's Paris-Bombay collection - complete with elaborate head-dress - Strokous poses against a cafe bar while the label's latest flap-bags hang out nearby. Watch: The Full Dior Secret Garden Film

It's finally here - and it's totally gorgeous. Filmed in Versailles by fashion image masters Inez and Vinoodh, Dior's latest film, Secret Garden, features models Daria Strokous, Melissa Stasiuk, and Xiao Wen Ju running like mad through the breathtaking hallways and gardens of the famed chateau. Dressed (and at times also slightly undressed) in the label's pre-Fall 2012 collection, the girls are the picture of elegance, while Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence" provides the perfect, haunting soundtrack.

This isn't the first time the iconic label has used Versailles as inspiration. Christian Dior made direct reference to the palace in several of his first collections, and in 1955 even created an embroidery thread which he dubbed the "Versailles gold braid." In 2007, the house's then designer John Galliano staged the label's 60th anniversary couture show in the palace's Orangerie. More recently, the 2011 Dior J'adore fragrance ad starring Charlize Theron was filmed by Jean-Jacques Annaud in the castle's storied Hall of Mirrors.

Sneak Peek: See the Teaser For Dior's Secret Garden Film

This season's Dior film won't be released until May 3, but here's a look at the exclusive teaser. Titled Secret Garden, the sneak peek shows models Daria Strokous, Melissa Stasiuk, and Xiao Wen Ju strolling eerily through the gilded hallways of Versailles wearing the label's Fall 2012 collection. Set to the tune of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy The Silence," the mostly black-and-white teaser is punctuated by flashes of color, which reveal each girl's underpinnings - or new outfits entirely - as she walks and poses. Words are very unnecessary, indeed.

Sasha Pivovarova, Daria Strokous Both Score Upcoming Film Cameos

>> Two models are making cameos in upcoming movies this Fall - Sasha Pivovarova plays Justin Timberlake's mother-in-law in the sci-fi thriller In Time, out Oct. 28, and Daria Strokous makes an appearance in Steven Soderbergh's upcoming thriller Contagion, which is out Sept. 9 and boasts a cast that includes Marion Cotillard, Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jude Law, and Kate Winslet. No details have been released about Strokous's role, but Pivovarova can be spotted in the trailer for In Time, below - right around the 2:30 mark.

The full Spring 2011 ad sets are out for both Jil Sander and Louis Vuitton; while Willy Vanderperre shot a pink-haired Daria Strokous against a washed-out white background, part of her face obscured in many of the images while the clothes take on a watercolored feel, Steven Meisel captured Kristen McMenamy, Raquel Zimmermann, and Freja Beha Erichsen in an environment of opulent excess.

Riccardo Tisci Readies For a Vacation with Givenchy Fall 2008 Couture

>> Riccardo Tisci is taking a trip to Peru in August, and his anticipation birthed the Incan prints and alpaca blanket stripes that pepper his latest couture collection for Givenchy.

Highlighter shades of fuchsia and violet provided shocking punctuation amongst Tisci's usual color palette of neutrals. The emerging trends of knee-length leggings, transparency, and lace were all present along with the signature Tisci for Givenchy leather jackets and oversized hats. But I have to say, amongst all the draped jersey and deconstructed shapes, the two standout looks were similar pale, choppily-fringed minidresses.
