Put together by Swarovski - who is underwriting the awards for the 11th year in a row now - the video reads like a who's who of the industry. Among those who make cameos? Well, there's Carolina Herrera, Johan Lindeberg, Narciso Rodriguez, Rachel Roy, Rebecca Minkoff, Peter Som, Phillip Lim, Diane von Furstenberg, Pamela Love, Stefano Tonchi, Virginia Smith, Garance Doré, and Scott Schuman - just to name a few. There's also lots of head-nodding, air-kissing, champagne-drinking, and general good times being had all around.

The designer's signature nipped-at-the-waist gowns were done up in bursts of red, plum, and baby blue, with black and gray providing graphic contrast throughout.

>> A few furry sleeves may be thrown into Carolina Herrera's Pre-Fall 2012 collection, alongside the blue-tinged poodle prints inspired by her dog, Gaspar. But a large part of the offering is also diaphanous. "What Pre-Fall means is Spring," Herrera explains, as these pieces will hit stores in May. "This collection is a continuation of that. Women buy these clothes to wear in summer."

>> Carolina Herrera's Spring 2012 collection, full of sparrow prints and linear motifs, “started with the Bauhaus,” she said, citing “the modernity of lines and the fluidity.” As Nicki Minaj and Anna Wintour sat next to each other front row, Herrera sent out fluid mint green dresses and architectural embroideries. The color palette - largely jade green, rusty red, and sunny yellow - came from the Bakelite bangles that were used to accessorize the collection, she said.
