A Look Back at Karen Elson and Jack White, The Couple

>> Karen Elson and Jack White are making sure their marriage - just over six years' worth - goes out with a bang, by holding a divorce party in Nashville this evening. The couple wasn't often captured together - it wasn't until last year that White finally agreed to be photographed with Elson for the first time, for Vogue's June 2010 issue. “When this [opportunity at Vogue] came about,” Elson said at the time, “for whatever reason, he was sort of like, You know, this is going to be the only time we are ever, ever, ever going to do this, so it might as well be with the best people on the planet, it might as well be with Annie [Leibovitz] and Grace [Coddington], to get that one great image of the pair of us.” Those images, plus the rare few others of the couple together, in the slideshow; plus, The White Stripes' video for "Blue Orchid," on the set of which Elson and White met in 2005. It premiered just days before they were married.

Angelina Jolie Reportedly to Appear in Upcoming Louis Vuitton Campaign

>> Angelina Jolie is reportedly set to be a face of Louis Vuitton; the print-only campaign is expected to be shot by Annie Leibovitz in the next couple of weeks and is said to be launched globally - in print only - this Summer.

According to a source familiar with the deal, E! reports, Jolie will be paid "close to $10 million" for the endorsement, believed to be the most lucrative of her career. A Louis Vuitton rep had no comment on the matter, but this campaign sounds like the newest edition of Vuitton's Core Values series, which Leibovitz has always photographed (Whereas for the past number of seasons, Steven Meisel has shot the collection campaign. Rumors have already swirled that he captured six models for the upcoming Fall 2011 Vuitton campaign.).

Lady Gaga is heavily rumored to be on the magazine's March 2011 cover, there's a rumor that Kristen Stewart is fronting the February 2011 cover, and last night, Rihanna Tweeted (the Tweet has since been taken down): "Just wrapped my first American Vogue cover shoot with Annie Leibovitz...Rah! #SEXY." >> Unpaid Fee Lawsuit Filed Against Annie Leibovitz -Annie Leibovitz reached an agreement with creditors Art Capital over a lawsuit last September, but yesterday she was hit with another lawsuit: private investment firm Brunswick Capital Partners alleges that she owes them more than $800,000 in unpaid fees, in part for facilitating a $40 million loan by equity firm Colony Capital last month to help her sort out her debts.
