Our New Three Days In A Row Tee

This may sound a little disgusting but we have been wearing the same tee-shirt, baring trips to the gym and bedtime, for three days in a row. What tee-shirt has us this obsessed? Adam Adam Lippes Long Sleeve Vee T-Shirt.

This 100% pima cotton tee is the platonic ideal of tee-shirt. Its so flattering, so comfortable, and so cozy that literally nothing else feels as "right" in our wardrobe. Longtime Coutorture readers will know of our affection for Adam so its little surprise that with our first Adam tee we have become so enamoured we literally won't take it off. Maybe this is a sign we should get a few more?

Adam Lippes Serves Up Functional Fresh Pieces With a Twist For Fall 2011

>> "The starting point in designing every collection is the woman who wears my clothes," said Adam Lippes, post-show. His ADAM collection, inspired by a recent visit to the National Museum of the American Indian, called out to the city girl, constantly on the go, working and loving life. Seventies-inspired utilitarian pieces like silk pleated skirts, wide-leg wool trousers, and delicate lace tops were given a fun twist with bold plaid prints and soft feminine hues. Meanwhile, ethnic print skirts, fringed-embellished hand-knit sweaters, and decadent soft mohair blanket coats hark back to Lippes’s main inspiration point. For eveningwear, the designer created sheer lace gowns and a punchier gold embroidered dress. This one’s definitely calling to what Lippes describes as the woman who wants to be “that girl”; especially when she’s accessorizing with geek chic glasses, scrunched socks, and Manolo Blahnik pumps.

Adam Lippes to Launch Lower-Priced Line With HSN

>> This September, Adam Lippes heads to HSN with a new lower-priced line, Love Adam, which features embellished tops, faux-fur coats, and printed dresses and is "more casual" than his ADAM main line. "It’s not a redux of our greatest hits in cheaper fabrics," the designer explains.

Love Adam is expected to retail between $55 and $400, versus the main line, which starts at about $175 for tops. It's the second mass-market collaboration for the designer, who was encouraged to pursue more widely accessible projects after a recent teaming with Spanish retailer Mango. “I was amazed by the reach that it gave my brand and the fact that good-looking, well-made clothes didn’t need to be crazy-expensive if you have the volume . . . I got letters and e-mails from customers all over the world.”
