>> A little bit of Courreges, and a lot of Coco...that's what Chanel Couture shows are made of. While staying true to form -- lots of white, black, pale pink, and tweed -- there was definitely some 60's flair infused into the mix: white go-go boots, a space-age outfit or two, and a couple of tent dresses, including Lily Cole's bridal finale. While Kaiser Karl did nothing shocking or cutting-edge, we shouldn't expect him to -- he stayed true to the classic house of Chanel. The sculptured bell-shaped skirts were adorable -- everything very
clean cut -- sophisticated, but girly. My only complaint is the hair -- I think all the flowers and brooches were a bit overdone, but then I'm not one for a lot of frills. Did I mention that the venue was amazing?
The rest of the collection can be seen here... a video is not up yet (at least to my knowledge).
