Singer Jean-Roch asked Karl Lagerfeld to play a heavenly father in his new music video for "Saint-Tropez."

At the very beginning of the clip, Roch approaches Lagerfeld — clad in all white, floating on a cloud — and asks him if he's in paradise. "You were never told that Saint-Tropez is paradise?" Karl asks in response. Roch and rapper Snoop Dogg then proceed to explain why the tropical island is heaven on earth. Take a look at the video below.

Natasha Poly was the the first girl to step off the classic Riva carrying barefoot models to the start of the Chanel resort show today in Saint-Tropez. Karl Lagerfeld's 1970s-on-the-Riviera collection of chiffon kaftans, gingham blouses, metallic shorts, tweed jackets, and lace swimwear was location-appropriate and ultimately very wearable, as illustrated by the range of models cast for the event. Jaquetta Wheeler (who said she often wishes for more curves), 17-year-old Georgia May Jagger (who closed the show on the back of a motorcycle), and plus-size model Crystal Renn were among those to walk. After the runway, guests headed to VIP Room for a celebration, which was the location used in Lagerfeld's short film for the collection, "Remember Now."

Karl Lagerfeld is in Saint Tropez for the launch of the Chanel 2011 resort collection and yesterday held a private screening of his 17-minute film, "Remember Now." Vanessa Paradis, Diane Kurger, and Georgia Jagger (who is walking in tonight's resort show) attended the premiere, held in the Cinema de la Renaissance, to watch Heidi Mount, Pascal Greggory, and Elisa Sednaoui in the short film about an aging playboy (played by Greggory) and one very memorable evening. "When I do a film, I see the movie before I've made it. I don't make scripts because it's written in my head," said Lagerfeld, who also makes a cameo. Watch the complete film here.
