Fancy a tour of some of Tokyo's coolest shops? The Glossy captures her travels to the city before skipping off to Hong Kong.

Fashion Verbatim loves to entice their readers to feel something when it comes to fashion and, well, yes, this outfit did make us a little salty.

Poetic & Chic wrote on the Spring 09 Louis Vuitton ad campaign featuring Madonna. She writes, "Vuitton is still going day-glo, over-the-top, and high profile in a time when people are tightening belts and shopping the closet.".

Beyond The Pale

We feel like the onesie trend is getting a little bit conservative.
Budda Gray OnesieWe feel like the onesie trend is getting a little bit conservative. Everyone is wearing it in neutral shades. Fashion Verbatim is loving a greige Budda jumpsuit. We have already given a host of suggestions for the neutral jumpsuit in our homage to the past's vision of the future fashion. We are even particularly partial to several options of black jumpsuits like this Tibi Off The Shoulder Jumpsuit and this Sea Pleated Strapless Jumpsuit. But we really think its time to get more creative with the onesie wearing. After all, if one is going to go with something that is vaguely questionable for daily wear why not go all the way? Thus we present several options for the adventurous dresser. We are sure Fashion Verbatim won't mind if we improve on his idea just a little bit. More Shoutouts

Fashion Verbatim Shoutout: A Vest By Any Other Name

Fashion Verbatim is getting excited for spring by chopping off sleeves and pant legs.
Image of Vanessa Bruno Sleeves BlazerFashion Verbatim is getting excited for spring by chopping off sleeves and pant legs. But we are curious about the name of the Vanessa Bruno Sleeves Blazer he features. It certainly looks like a vest to us. But we did a little digging and we have begun to notice that the term vest doesn't always seem to apply. In fact, many garments are being sold that look rather like vests but mimic dresses, shrugs, sweaters, and even tuxedos. We suppose the classic hipster joke about their dislike for sleeves means that new variations on the vest theme was only a matter of time. After all, vests were so last summer. If we believe Fashion Verbatim its all about the sleeveless blazer this season. To Read Other Shoutouts Click Here

Final Fashion and Fashion Verbatim Shoutout: Haiku For Two

We are always encouraging bloggers to push their limits.
We are always encouraging bloggers to push their limits. After all its getting mighty crowded out there just to rummage about in one medium. Thus we couldn't be more proud of Toronto fashion bloggers Final Fashion and Fashion Verbatim for teaming up to create a Canuck fashion haiku series for NOW Magazine combining poetry and illustration. Our favorite quip?
"The consensus was if great hats speak for themselves Ruffles made babble."
