Yigal Azrouel Spring 2012
Yigal Azrouel has a way with drape; his collections are known for their sexy sleek dresses. In recent seasons he's experimented with sporty silhouettes and edgy styles, but for Spring 2012 he returned to a much sleeker, simpler point. We couldn't be happier. Figure-flattering dresses, done in a clear, solid palette, shone. Many had thigh-high slits, all of them had a fluidity that made for easy Spring dressing. Our favorite? Any of the bold red dresses; they're major statement makers.

Guilty pleasure during Fashion Week: Massages!
Fashion’s Night Out plans: It’s the night before my women’s show, but I will be at Saks both for Yigal Azrouël and Cut25.
Favorite songs: Hot Chip's “Hand Me Down Your Love”, MGMT's “Someone’s Missing”, and LCD Soundsystem's “Dance Yrself Clean.”
Surprises for Spring '12: This is the first time that I am doing three shows so it is quite hectic, but that is what I find the most exhilarating about the whole process and experience. We are also experimenting with a lot of new proportions and playing with a lot of fabric manipulation.

Celeb Style: Claire Danes
Claire Danes looked gorgeous in a houndstooth Yigal Azrouel dress at the MCC Theater's 25th Anniversary Gala in NYC. She kept her accessories cohesive — opaque tights, patent pumps, chandelier earrings, and a double-finger ring. Her loose curls, natural makeup, and a berry lip finished off her effortless look. So check a few picks for going green the fashionable way, whether you're hitting up a parade or just going for a couple of chartreuse cocktails after work.

Our Favorite Looks From Fashion Week So Far: Day 7
Fashion Week's penultimate day was a restatement — and in some ways a restructuring — of the trends we've seen all week. New, softer iterations of textured, ratted hair, dramatic eye color, and braiding came down the runway, with a little naturalism to balance things out. It was one of the week's most wearable days, so check out our picks and see which looks you'd be excited to try for yourself.
