If Spring 2009 can offer one thing to the shoe buyer its "anything," and no we don't mean to be glib. Oh! Deer, Farylrobin, Tom's Shoes, Aquatalia, Chi Mihara, United Nude, Terra Plana, and Naughty Monkey were just some of the brands that caught our wandering eye.
If you want an up close and personal look at what is going to be hot in handbags for Spring 2009 then Sole Commerce, Coterie's sister at the Javitt's Center, is a great place to start. LAI, Badgley Mischka, Rafe, Lauren Merkin, and Dusica and Dusica were some of our favorites. Jewel tones, exotics, patents and hardware all clearly remain big sellers but our personal favorites were the nudes at Dusica and Dusica!
