To advertise her upcoming collaboration of formal dresses and cocktail attire with Target, stylist Kate Young selected a group of notables to be photographed by Terry Richardson.

The resulting campaign features Leigh Lezark of The Misshapes, model Hailey Gates, actress Nathalie Love, and model Lily Kwong. Richardson shot each of them in front of a step-and-repeat emblazoned with the Kate Young For Target Logo, casting them as It Girls arriving at a red carpet event.

Young's capsule will be in Target stores across the country starting April 14, and follows the successful Prabal Gurung collection for the retailer. Pricing information isn't available yet, but here's a first look at the campaign.

Nerves were high for the designers, with a winner to be announced next month. “I have to tell myself to stop and enjoy the moment,” said Gurung. “But it was hard for us all not to tear up.” And Laura Love, Vogue West Coast editor Lisa Love's daughter, who was reportedly convinced to check out modeling by Anna Wintour and has since signed with Ford Models, walked the runway for Altuzarra.

Chanel Mobile Art Opening Misses Anna Wintour, Brings Back McBeha

>> Despite a scathing review in The New York Times yesterday, the" black hole of bad art and superficial temptations," otherwise known as the Chanel Mobile Art exhibition, brought out the well-heeled last night.  Editors were in full force — Carine Roitfeld and Franca Sozzani swarmed Karl Lagerfeld upon his arrival, Glenda Bailey and Amy Astley made early cameos — but there was no Anna Wintour in sight .
