The Temores Spring 09 collection was bright, body-skimming, and vaguely nineties, all of which should make it a successful collection this Spring. Fantastic head pieces aside, these sporty frocks and separates should do well with both the Herve Leger and Lacoste sets. That is, we can see these outfits styled in preparation for the red carpet just as much as we can see them for the tennis court. From the collection, our favorite pieces were the color blocked mini dresses that we might end up seeing in American Apparel before too long. We hear they've got a few stores in Mexico City too...

For the Spring 09 Cherry Project collection jersey and neon were wholeheartedly embraced and no matter how tired of it we might be, it's tempting to indulge in the body skimming mix-and-match pieces that came down the runway. Some of the color combinations were fantastic, like, salmon, white, and powder blue and some of the pieces were very sexy. There were some outfits that lacked sophistication but, you know, they were still fun and that was the overall message from the collection in the first place. Mexico Fashion Week has been better than ever this season particularly because it has been free-spirited and that is something we expect, but don't always receive, from the Spring season.
