In the same showroom where you'll find Frank Tell's gothic-romantic Fall 2009 collection is a another designer with a similar penchant for feminine details and all-black ensembles. Designer Roberta Furlanetto, who was born in Veneto and now works from Milan, has designed pieces for French maisons Christian Lacroix, Emanuel Ungaro, Christian Dior and Azzedine Alaia. Furlanetto's namesake ready-to-wear collection calls up couture craftsmanship while keeping the overall look clean, sophisticated, and modern. Check out Furlanetto's Fall 2009 look book, and our snapshots from the showroom, in the gallery below.
Earlier this week we had the opportunity to check out Frank Tell's Fall 2009 collection in the showroom. His fantastic knit pieces, Givenchy-like romantic blouses, and custom jewelry were just as fantastic on the rolling rack as they were during his New York Fashion Week presentation. The Spanish designer is stocked at Bloomingdales and Henri Bendel in New York and has been seen frolicking around with the likes of Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and Pamela Love. Needless to say, Tell is one to watch. Check out his Fall 2009 look book and a few of our snapshots from the showroom below.
