Alexa Chung never ceases to amaze us with her effortless, cool-girl aesthetic, and her latest NYC ensemble is certainly no exception. It's super easy to re-create, and you probably already have the right pieces in your closet. To start, Alexa wore a classic denim dress, then added an olive-green jacket for a utilitarian edge. Other touches included a bright red structured crossbody bag by Delvaux, lace loafers, and these tortoiseshell Karen Walker sunglasses ($250). We love the color combination, and her lace shoes provided the right amount of feminine flair. Mimic Alexa's latest outfit for your next daytime outing, and to transition the look to night, just swap the olive jacket for a blazer and the flats for heels.

Katie Holmes's Green Scarf Pops Against Her Navy Coat
Katie Holmes was spotted in NYC looking all bundled up in her new navy Balenciaga coat ($2,118) she's been showing off lately. On bottom she wore faded skinny jeans and these Rag & Bone Newbury booties ($347, originally $495), and she carried this Delvaux colorblock bag ($3,500). But it was her green scarf peeping out from under her coat that really made her look pop — we love the mix of green and navy. To mimic Katie's latest street style, finish your navy coats and sweaters with a bright-green scarf.

Katie Holmes Layers Up in a Silk Blouse and a Cozy Knit Cardigan
Katie Holmes strolled the streets of NYC over the weekend looking cozy-slash-chic in this Etoile Isabel Marant knit cardigan ($425), topped over a white silk blouse, which she buttoned up all the way for a polished feel. On bottom the actress wore black pleat-front trousers with black ankle boots, then added a pop of color via this Delvaux Madame black and red colorblock bag ($3,500). We're loving Katie's layered look, especially for the office, so to achieve it, just wear your silky blouses with your favorite knit cardigans. Don't forget to button up all the way for that extra-sleek touch.
