The evening before, guests including Carine Roitfeld, Karl Lagerfeld, Sonia Rykiel, Du Juan, Abbey Lee Kershaw, and Elisa Sednaoui (who was on her way to Saint-Tropez to film with Lagerfeld for his Chanel cruise collection) celebrated the opening of Ralph Lauren's Boulevard Saint-Germain store—his largest in Europe—with a black-tie dinner.
