>> Looks like cries have changed from "Save Katie!" to "Save Kate!" as the Daily Mirror shockingly revealed that Kate Moss does cocaine. Wow, what a revelation! I mean, who would have thought -- Kate Moss, doing the cocaine? No....
CNN is backing up the story, reporting that Miss Moss acknowledged that the allegations were true. If nothing else, I have respect for her owning up to her actions. And really, this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Not to be presumptuous, but it's not exactly new news that Kate does drugs. But that's not why we like her anyway. We like her look. We like her style. We like the way she carries herself. And we like her devil-may-care personality.
At the same time, however, I do worry about Lila Grace, Kate's daughter, and how this affects her. Because by no means do I think she deserves a mother who does drugs.
As a side note, I do find this t-shirt the Imaginary Socialite snapped a picture of (I believe at the Heatherette show) quite amusing.

Update #2: Kate has been dropped from more companies -- Burberry cancelled a forthcoming ad campaign, and Chanel is letting Kate's contract that expires next month run out. All that's left is Rimmel and Dior... http://www.vogue.co.uk/vogue_daily/story/story.asp?stid=29183&date=&sid=
no matter if she's into skiing. ULTRA GORGEOUS KATE RULES ANYWAY!!!
you know, good on H&M! dump that silly croydon girl who would look like a chav without her haute couture. by doing drugs, she is endorsing the wrong image for H&M and i dont feel a least bit sorry for her. she is going to be promoting clothes that young people are going to wear -- what kind of message would a fashion chain like H&M be sending out if they allowed a girl with one hole in her nose wearing the Stella McC line? okay *rant over*
So, as an update: it looks like H&M pulled Kate from their ad campaign in the wake of everything. It will be interesting to see how the "new revelations" will affect her relationships with all the companies she fronts ad campaigns for... http://www.vogue.co.uk/vogue_daily/story/story.asp?stid=29133&date=&sid=
I'm more surprised by models that DON'T do drugs. Not that I encourage them to do drugs ... it just seems like that all celebrities — models or otherwise — are addicted to something, in rehab, or anorexic. Truly healthy models are few and far between, I think.
She is a super model who is dating a known drug addict. I can't believe anyone is really THAT surprised that she does coke. I think the surprise is that she allowed (?) someone to photograph it.
free kate from coke, from pete, from tabloids... there's so much options to chose from! i used to like her a lot (she continues to be an incon despite all this stuff) but i think this druggie side is getting a little too BIG - she doesn't look heroin chic ou rock chic or whatever chic - she looks like i've-reached-the bottom-not-so-chic-after all!
Hmmm. Now that I think about it, that's a good question. I don't think that there's anything to really "get," per se. My understanding of it was that the artist was just trying to be facetious and play on the phrase "Free Katie."
I dont get it? Free kate from what?
