All the red carpet glamour at Cannes certainly made this week a very stylish seven days to remember, but so did fashionable events here at home. Case in point: Coco Rocha and her friend Zac Posen both attended the debut of photographer Steve Sebring's latest works, called Revolution. Earlier in the week, Olivier Theyskens hosted a party in the Big Apple for the AIDS Community Research Initiative of America, or ACRIA, that drew his fellow designers Prabal Gurung and Peter Som.

Retailer Claire Distenfeld of the boutique Fivestory hosted an event for the 2013 CFDA Award nominees that included Cushnie et Ochs designers Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs, Anna Wintour attended a Cartier garden party at the Museum of Modern Art, and Solange Knowles performed at Intermix's 20th birthday bash.

January Jones on Fighting Diane Kruger For Red Carpet Dresses

Actress January Jones may be known for taking risks on the red carpet, but the Mad Men star says she doesn't use a stylist. Instead, she gets inspiration from her good friend, fashion darling and actress Diane Kruger. But that's not all she revealed in a recent interview with The Edit, Net-A-Porter's online magazine. A look at what else she has to say, below.

On dressing with Diane Kruger: "She always looks fantastic, so I watch what she wears. We like to go to shows or look online and then fight each other for the best pieces."

On her brief stint in modeling: "The greatest thing I took from it was self-appreciation: I was good at dealing with disappointment. You go on 10 go-sees a day, so when I got to LA and started auditioning, I was used to rejection."

On staying private: "There are parts of your life - no matter what your job - that should remain private. When my son asks those questions, I want him to hear it from me. I don't want him to be able to Google it."

Stolen Style: The Most Memorable Fashion Heists

Another day, another multi-million dollar jewelry heist at the Cannes Film Festival. It's just been reported that on Tuesday, a de Grisogono necklace worth $2.6 million was stolen from a party the brand was having in Cannes.

"These incidents are rare; it is actually the first time it has happened in our 20-year history," said de Grisogono's founder Fawaz Gruosi in a statement. "However when they occur, one must be proactive and collaborate with the authorities."

Police in France are also still on the hunt for the jewelry stolen from a Chopard employee's hotel room in Cannes, but there are plenty of other, much older fashion and jewelry thefts that still haven't been completely solved. Case in point: only a portion of the legendary raid at the Harry Winston store in Paris was ever found, and it doesn't appear that all of Marc Jacobs's stolen Spring 2012 samples were found.

Strike a Pose: What the Supermodels Wore on the Cannes Red Carpet

What's black and white and red all over? At the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, those seemed to be the colors of choice for the models walking down the red carpet.

Newcomer Barbara Palvin wore an unexpected but chic black tuxedo by Alexandre Vauthier to the premiere of Cleopatra, and Heidi Klum wore a white, studded Versace gown to the premiere of Nebraska. Inès de la Fressange, at left, wowed photographers in a strapless red dress on her way to a screening of Jeune & Jolie. But Milla Jovovich was spotted in all three colors when she chose a Spring 2013 Chanel Couture gown for the Blood Ties premiere.

But there were a few gorgeous girls who broke that trend: Joan Smalls saw Cleopatra in a stunning pale pink Pucci, and Liu Wen wore a deep purple Roberto Cavalli gown to see All Is Lost.
