dumped by dior
>> "So long, Hedi Slimane," says Dior. "Hellooo Kris Van Assche." Dior Homme has officially decided to cut ties with Hedi Slimane, after negotiations languished along since last July when Slimane's contract expired. Slimane was looking to start his own label, which Dior was willing to back, but Slimane's reluctance to give up ownership of his name as well as differences over the estimated value of the Hedi Slimane brand ultimately caused the stalemate.
Dior is said to be looking for a new direction for it's men's wear, and is looking to Kris Van Assche to take the baton and run with it (an official announcement has yet to be made, but is expected). Van Asshe previously worked with Slimane for seven years.
