Never one to mince words, Karl Lagerfeld has declared his love for one of the Middleton sisters and avowed his distaste for the other in one fell swoop.
"Kate Middleton has a nice silhouette. I like that kind of woman, I like romantic beauties," Lagerfeld said when asked his opinion on the Duchess of Cambridge. "On the other hand, her sister struggles," he said, referring to Pippa Middleton. "I don't like the sister's face. She should only show her back."
The last time Lagerfeld insulted someone's looks in the press was when he said the British songstress Adele was "a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice" in February. Lagerfeld later apologized and was even rumored to have offered Adele a Chanel campaign to make up for the gaffe.
