Is Anne Vyalitsyna the World's Next Richest Supermodel?

With her gorgeous looks and tremendous presence on the runway, it's no surprise Anne Vyalitsyna has had major success as a model — but could she eventually earn more than other big names in the business?

With her gorgeous looks and tremendous presence on the runway, it's no surprise Anne Vyalitsyna has had major success as a model — but could she eventually earn more than other big names in the business?

The question has been floating around because of Vyalitsyna's work in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Since 2005, she's made eight consecutive appearances in the issue, widely considered one of the most important assignments a model can get. The world's current richest model, Kathy Ireland, made 13 consecutive appearances in the '80s and '90s and parlayed her fame into a licensing empire that sells $400 million worth of products — from furniture to wedding dresses, scented candles, and beyond — every year.

While Vyalitsyna may not have intended to follow Ireland's path to fortune, her work in Sports Illustrated has her on the same track. And with work for Victoria's Secret, Vogue, and Elle under her belt — to say nothing of her scores of other contracts — Vyalitsyna will undoubtedly continue to be a force to reckon with.

This week's chic events in London, Seoul, and Vienna may very well have given the fashion crowd at Cannes a run for their money.

At A Celebration of Arts in London, designer-muse pairings were the name of the game. Henry Holland brought pal Agyness Deyn as his date, dressing her in a sparkling turquoise gown from his Fall 2012 House of Holland collection. Caroline Sieber also attended with an enviable date: Christopher Kane, who created a crystal-embellished ivory dress for the occasion.

On the other side of the globe in Seoul, Calvin Klein designer Francisco Costa hosted a one-night-only exhibition of video art — and brought some very chic guests along for the fete: Hanneli Mustaparta, Lara Stone, Chloe Moretz, and Kate Bosworth.

See all those — plus Franca Sozzani, Milla Jovovich, Naomi Campbell, and Alek Wek at the Life Ball 2012 in Vienna — and more, here in our best-of-the-week roundup.

Peter Serafinowicz directed the video, in which a cult led by British actor Terence Stamp dances to summon two beings from outer space — played admirably by Stone and musician Reggie Watts. When Stone and Watts arrive, their ships combine to form a yin and yang symbol — which makes the cult happy until things start to go awry. Take a look at the video below.

Alexis Bittar Elements Fall 2012

The next installment of Alexis Bittar's Elements collection won't hit stores until this August, but fans of the jewels can get a peek at the never-before-seen pieces — and place orders — right now.

Currently available for preorder on Moda Operandi, this season's offering features the same hand-hewn aesthetic and organic textures that made last season's debut so mesmerizing, but this time around the Native American motifs have been replaced with something even more luxe: smokey quartz, shimmering pyrite, and stone-encrusted panthers. Priced from $125 to $495, pieces can be ordered right now — but only until June 1. A look at the entire selection, here.

She may be Madonna's latest Material Girl, but Georgia May Jagger has always been one of the coolest girls around.
Georgia May Jagger Model Style Pictures

She may be Madonna's latest Material Girl, but Georgia May Jagger has always been one of the coolest girls around. With model-mom Jerry Hall's stunning bone structure and dad Mick's iconic gap-toothed pout — not to mention both parents' rock 'n' roll vibe — the 5'7" progeny-turned-muse has already been featured in scores of magazines, from American Vogue to i-D. She's also been photographed by the likes of Mario Sorrenti and Hedi Slimane, fronted major campaigns for Chanel and Versace, and has long-standing contracts with Hudson Jeans and Rimmel London.

"To be handpicked by Madonna and Lola as the new face of Material Girl is truly amazing," Jagger said of her latest endeavor, the back-to-school campaign for junior line Material Girl, which bows this Summer. "My agent received a call from the Material Girl team saying Lola and Madonna wanted to work together with me. From talking with Lola, she and her mum liked my style and thought it would be a good fit," Jagger elaborated. "I've always admired Madonna's style and I'm thrilled to be working with her and Lola. I dressed up like her for a school dance once!"

A look at Jagger's muse-worthy style evolution — which includes plenty of animal print, primary hues, and body-con silhouettes — here, in the gallery.
