>> Since losing its original founders last March, Sigerson Morrison has been focusing heavily on refreshing its brand — and now they've enlisted Taylor Tomasi Hill to help. The Marie Claire style and accessories director has been tapped as the company's new creative consultant, and will not only advise on trend direction and concept development for Sigerson Morrison and its secondary line, Belle by Sigerson Morrison, but will also assist on future advertising and marketing initiatives. “Taylor is our style guru. We have such a respect for her and her taste level and trend knowledge and her vision in terms of fashion,” explained Susan Itzkowitz, president of Marc Fisher Footwear, the brand's parent company. The addition of Tomasi Hill is not the only change in motion at the company; a new design team has been established in Italy, and for Spring 2012 both lines will introduce new styles, materials, and silhouettes — as well as slightly lower price points.
