With an increasingly obvious directive to attract a younger customer to the house of Valentino, creative directors Maria Grazie Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli tried to up the shock value with their latest advertising campaign. Not exactly explicit when compared to some recent Tom Ford ads or even a naked Marc Jacobs, but nonetheless a change for Valentino, the campaign images feature side-by-side portraits of the same model—one clothed in the fall collection and one nude.

Photographed in black and white by David Sims (who replaced Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott to shoot his first Valentino images), models Freja Beha, Monika Jagaciak, and Tati Cotlar front the campaign photos, which were taken in the house's Parisian headquarters. “The idea is that of an unexpectedly intimate black-and-white portrait with candid shots of unconventional, delicate and individual beauty and a more dangerous undercurrent,” Chiuri said to WWD. “We believe it is a very modern and feminine vision and we wanted to show each woman’s unique personal allure,” added Piccioli. The first photos break this month in the Italian edition of Vogue.

Georgina Chapman turned out her largest resort collection to date for Marchesa, having fun with tribal motifs mixed with her signature feminine details like feathers, fringe, beading, and hand embroidery. “Combining a tribal look with the kind of dresses we usually do made everything seem playful," said Chapman, who is seven months pregnant. In addition to the tribal theme there was a strong '60s moment in the graphic swing dresses worn with matching cropped leggings, black turbans, and armfuls of chunky bangles.

When asked if she was still in touch with Jacobson, Zoe replied: "The answer to that would be: I would love to tell you but I would have to kill you. You'll see it on season three [of The Rachel Zoe Project, premiering Aug. 3 on Bravo]." Needless to say, any strain between the two has not healed: when Jacobson's consulting job with denim line Kasil was mentioned, Zoe said, "Ugh. Oh yeah. [A line] that I've never heard of. I don't care what she does. How's that? How's that for an answer?" And in the teaser trailer for The Rachel Zoe Project, season 3, below, Goreski mentions to Zoe that he heard Jacobson was styling someone for the Golden Globes, and Zoe replies, "The last thing I want to hear is something good about Taylor."
