Inspired by four actresses from Maggie Cheung's films ("Hero," "In the Mood for Love," "Clean," and "Heroic Trio") Rodarte's Laura and Kate Mulleavy created the four handmade dresses seen in this Wing Shya-directed video to benefit UNICEF at auction. And, it pays to watch . . . for every click of the short film on YouTube from now until March 31, the retailer Joyce will donate HK$1 to the charity.

The Rodarte sisters also recently announced they have designed ballet costumes for Darren Aronofsky's film, "Black Swan," a thriller starring Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis as competing ballerinas. The movie includes dances from "Swan Lake," for which the Mulleavys designed the stage costumes.

And despite the fact that Michelle Obama wore a red sheath dress from his MDLR collection last August, Moises says he'd like to remain “slightly under the radar,” for a while — until New York Fashon Week, at least.  In the meantime, he's working on adding e-commerce to his website and jewelry and fur to his offerings. Rocha, who is marrying interior designer James Conran on June 9, also describes the proposal: "He took me to a beautiful castle in France and he proposed there. We’re actually going to be married there as well." But the extravagant location doesn't dictate a subsequently large ceremony: "We’re only having about 60 people so it's not going to be too big at all."

She also mentioned that she hopes to debut her line, Rococo, at the end of the year.

Rachel Zoe launches her spring 2010 collection for QVC this week, and no piece is over $200. Some of Zoe's favorites — which she shares with FabTV in the video above — include a leopard tuxedo jacket (that she layers under a matching trench coat), zipper-covered biker jackets (available in tan, black, and gray), a classic "every girl needs one" black blazer, and colorful spring scarves in peacock prints. Our pick? The update to fall's faux fur vest — a lighter-weight version with a satin back in dove gray and off-white.

Pour la Victoire Launches Rock Legend-Inspired Handbag Collection For Fall 2010

Pour la Victoire's David Giordano and Jay Adoni set out to create an innovative footwear line inspired by hard-edge European design houses at an affordable price point in 2008.

Pour la Victoire's David Giordano and Jay Adoni set out to create an innovative footwear line inspired by hard-edge European design houses at an affordable price point in 2008. Encouraged by the immediate success of their shoe collections (highlighted in French Vogue editorials, sold at Bergdorf Goodman), the duo has decided to expand into the handbag market for fall 2010.

With the same dedication to style-meets-quality-at-a-reasonable-price that catapulted their footwear business into the limelight, Brooklyn-based Giordano and Adoni designed individual yet practical (lightweight!) bags for fall. There are cross-body chain-strap styles with buckles, oversize bucket totes with studded bottoms, and slouchy love-worn shoulder bags — all made with rich, textured leathers in shades of black and gray. The collection, which has been named after rock legends (the"Dylan" and "Bowie" are our personal favorites), will retail from $400-$600. At those prices, we might just have to splurge on more than one . . .

With the spread comes an interview, in which Dree runs over some of her favorites . . . and not-so-favorites. On London: "It's my favorite place. I should probably just move there." On walking in Milan: "No thank you." On catalog shoots: "I feel trapped! Smile and pose with the bag but it's too cheesy. I can't handle it! It's unnatural!"  And on her best job: "The first shoot with Inez and Vinoodh for W and every other shoot with Alasdair McLellan. He's amazing."

Of adults squeezing into the pieces, she says: "I think it’s great. It’s a compliment. It’s something that we thought might happen. I certainly got a couple of the large sizes myself. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it. It’s great to have that kind of interest; it’s just a compliment that everybody wants it." [Style File]
