"I said, 'I want red and I want lace, and I want it very short — the rest, do whatever you want.'" >> Over the weekend, Rachel Zoe wore a long, black, loose-fitting dress to the MOCA Los Angeles's gala, driving even more pregnancy rumors. Although Zoe has adamantly denied being pregnant in the past, E! reports that at the event, "She was spotted placing her hand on her belly. There was a visible bump." >> After last week's rumor suggesting that Google is launching ecommerce on Wednesday, a few clarifying details have come up: the initiative Boutiques.com is actually a curation of virtual boutiques; visitors won't be able to purchase directly from Google but rather, will click through to a brand's online store or an online retailer like Saks, Net-a-Porter, or Barneys to purchase the item.

There are at least 19 designers, including Oscar de la Renta, Tory Burch, Cynthia Rowley, Marchesa, Isaac Mizrahi, Tracy Reese, Prabal Gurung, and Erin Fetherston, who have been invited to set up virtual stores on the site. There will also be curated boutiques selling looks worn by celebrities and influencers like Lady Gaga, Victoria Beckham, Emma Watson, Anna Wintour, Rachel Zoe, and Michelle Obama. Sarah Jessica Parker has been asked to set up her own personalized shop, and a handful of high profile bloggers are also said to have been invited to curate their own boutiques in exchange for a low five-figure payment.

The idea is to have any user be able to do the same — create and share their own personalized boutique with items, brands, and looks they prefer. Elements of entertainment, gaming, and social media are also planned.

>> Looks like Miranda Kerr did a flurry of photoshoots at six and a half months pregnant. First, a nude portrait for W, and now the January 2011 cover for Vogue Australia, marking the first pregnant cover for the magazine. "I'm definitely taking more time out to relax and be present to the whole experience of being pregnant," she told Vogue Australia. She's also making some changes in her living arrangements: Kerr just put her one-bedroom condo in Manhattan's Flatiron District on the market for $1.395 million; she bought it for just under $1.1 million in 2006 and is now living in Los Angeles with her husband, Orlando Bloom. >> Sassy founder Jane Pratt heard about Tavi Gevinson's adoration for the now-defunct magazine — and after emailing Gevinson and meeting a couple of times since, Tavi announced on Friday: "It looks like we're going to start a magazine for an audience of wallflowerly teenage girls."

The title of the magazine, which Gevinson describes as "a feminist, creative, moody-teenage-girl magazine," has not yet been decided, but there will be a website, to launch this Spring, and three print issues a year, beginning in Fall 2011. "It won't be Sassy (or the rebirth of Sassy or Sassy 2.0)," Gevinson writes. "And nor do we want it to be. For one, you can't try to re-create something that good. For another, while I can read old issues of Sassy and relate, the world has changed a bit in the past 15 or so years, and that whole Internet thing happened, and this world calls for something different."

“We hope to have the masthead finalized by the end of November,” Gevinson told WWD. She added on her blog, when inquiring for contributors: "This is supposed to have a 'for the people, by the people' kinda vibe. We want to find the best possible group of people for this project, and a wide range of ages, styles, etc."

>> A couple of weeks ago, it was rumored that Zac Posen had been asked to create Kristen Stewart's wedding dress for the upcoming Twilight: Breaking Dawn film. At the time, when Posen was asked to comment, he replied: “I can’t. I don’t speak about any of my projects and the reality of her non reality,” adding: "You know I do love a wedding."
