>> The CFDA has had a busy last couple of nights. The 2010 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists, which include Eddie Borgo, Pamela Love, Joseph Altuzarra, and Christian Cota, gathered at Anna Wintour's house on Wednesday night with their model muses for the design challenge cocktail party, which this year required a look for a working woman, inspired by Ann Taylor. And last night, designers like Francisco Costa — with Bianca Jagger on his arm, Subversive Jewelry's Justin Giunta, Peter Som, and Yigal Azrouel braved the torrential rain to toast the CFDA and Assouline's latest tome, American Fashion Designers at Home. CFDA president Diane von Furstenberg didn't make it — she's been temporarily bedridden with a cold — but plans are already in place for the next CFDA and Assouline collaboration: American Fashion: Designers on the Go, due out in Spring 2011, which will encompass travel guide tips, suggestions, and personal photos of favorite vacation places from designers.

>> Mario Grauso, the president of Vera Wang and former president of The Raul Puig Group (which owns Carolina Herrera and Nina Ricci) until he left the company in 2009, and his wife of 18 years, Anne Grauso, have split, she confirms. The Grausos met while working at Ralph Lauren in 1989 (Mario was an intern), and have a son, Henry, 14, and a house together upstate in Millbrook, New York. Anne, who was recently profiled in Harper's Bazaar after losing 60 pounds, called the separation "amicable." [NY Post, Vogue.it]

>> Earlier this week, we got a peek inside Coco Rocha's Manhattan apartment, and now some snaps of Vanessa Traina's West Village apartment — which she shares with boyfriend, Chad Muska — have turned up. Traina moved into the apartment, which is scattered with relics, fur pillows, and a giant taxidermic zebra, which her father sent to her when she moved in — in early 2008. >> Zoe Saldana, who was named the Fall 2010 Calvin Klein Underwear face in July and is a longtime devotee of the brand, was recently asked with whom she would most like to co-design a dress or line. Her reply? Not Francisco Costa. "Prabal Gurung has been a very good friend for many years. I am in awe of the way he has carried himself and his designs recently. >> Last night, Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld held his latest art showcase — new works by painter Nicolas Pol, who he's worked with in the past — as part of the Frieze Art Fair in London, with girlfriend Giovanna Battaglia and mother Carine Roitfeld there for support. Restoin Roitfeld champions young artists through his private dealership Feedback Ltd (named after a French radio program). "I don’t think, especially when you start in the business, you need 20 artists," he tells Nowness, "but two to three people you really believe in [where you can] have a relationship that will last for a little bit." He also has been known to partner up with major luxury brands like Giorgio Armani to hold his roving shows: "I don’t see why it is so bad for an artist to do something with such a credible person as Mr. Armani or a brand like Vuitton or Prada, or Miuccia herself. I don’t think it’s good to only do exhibitions and collaborations with fashion names, but I don’t see how it hurts the artist to do suddenly a huge show in Milan and New York with Armani, which had thousands of people coming and was all over the press. If the art is good and this element doesn’t take too much away from the creative side, then it doesn’t hurt." >> Rumors popped up in late August that Kate Moss and Jamie Hince had quietly gotten hitched — after the two were spotted wearing what appeared to be wedding rings during a two-week vacation in Italy.

This morning, the Daily Mirror reported that Hince and Moss were married on Aug. 7, in Sicily at a small church — Kate supposedly wore a see-through white dress and went barefoot at the intimate ceremony, with Hince in a dark suit and Moss's daughter Lila Grace Hack serving as ring-bearer. Apparently only a handful of guests were invited, and a "friend" is cited saying: "The plans were kept very quiet as Kate wanted the day to be low key and purely a celebration of their love. She’s never been one for convention or tradition, but Jamie’s been there for her through thick and thin, and she simply felt the time was right. They planned the day for weeks and were so excited. Kate didn’t want a stuffy, formal do, but something spiritual. Minutes after tying the knot, the giggling newlyweds were outside the church, dancing under trees. It was an incredibly happy day."

The couple were spotted wearing the same rings as recently as yesterday, but camp Moss is still denying that she has gotten married. One of the model's staff told the Daily Mail Moss is "definitely not married. Any implication she is . . . is factually incorrect." And Moss's agent denied the marriage rumors to Vogue UK.
