For resort, Phillip Lim showed a collection influenced by his rock n' roll Fall 2009 range. Lace was a major statement in the collection while leather shorts, patchwork denim trousers and signature blazers gave the collection a more boyish appeal. Lim is known for his plentiful collections and this resort is no exception. There are enough elements here to keep the mind fully-occupied until Spring 2010.

With all of the over-the-knee boots and strong shoulders that went into Fall 2009, skirts had to find their own way to stand out. Many designers opted for full short skirts to balance out proportions while others stuck with classic body-skimming minis and pencil skirts. From the many examples of full short skirts, some were structured, like those at D&G, and some were less aggressive, like those at Oscar de la Renta. Regardless, women should have no trouble finding this silhouette come Fall.
