>> For those who saw the pictures of Agyness Deyn shooting a campaign with Gabriel Aubry last month in a bright pink getup and wondered what it was for, here's your answer: she just landed Uniqlo's sure-to-be lucrative high Summer sports campaign, which breaks June 1 stateside and was photographed by Daniel Jackson and styled by Nicola Formichetti.

The model has been keeping a notably low profile compared to in the past — aside from best friend Henry Holland recently calling out an Agyness impostor on Twitter — "THIS IS FAKE PEOPLE!!! AGGY DOES KNOW HOW TO OPERATE A COMPUTER AND MOST CERTAINLY DOES NOT EAT BREAKFAST!" — and seems to be focused on scoring the money-making contracts, between Uniqlo and the Austrian water campaign she recently nabbed.

>> Yesterday we learned that Catherine McNeil was recently down in Brazil shooting the 2010 Pirelli calendar with Terry Richardson along with Ana Beatriz Barros, Gracie Carvalho, and Georgina Stojiljkovic.Today, photographer JD Ferguson posted an impromptu interview with Catherine, who just got back from Brazil, where she said she "smoked and chilled" with a girl named Daisy, "and then it was my turn on set."  Catherine calls the shoot, "Amazing.

Today, photographer JD Ferguson posted an impromptu interview with Catherine, who just got back from Brazil, where she said she "smoked and chilled" with a girl named Daisy, "and then it was my turn on set."  Catherine calls the shoot, "Amazing. Best job I've ever done," and implies that a girl named Abbey was also there.  So does this mean Daisy Lowe and Abbey Lee Kershaw were also in town for the Pirelli shoot?

While you're pondering that, Catherine also talked raw veganism — she just converted six weeks ago — and tattoos — she was "embarrassed to say" how many she has, but finally admitted she has 14:

I'm getting a new tattoo. I'm putting it right here, and it's all these arrows that point in the same direction up this way and it signifies law of attraction.  I'm getting it in white. [Getting tattoos] is about bringing good energy into my life. They're addictive. Like seriously addictive. Plus, all mine are hidden so it's not a problem anyways.

Rie Rasmussen To Screen First Feature Film Human Zoo at Cannes

>> Former Gucci face Rie Rasmussen left fashion a few years ago to fully immerse herself in the film world — and judging by the evasive tangent she went on when asked in April if she was planning on returning, it doesn't sound like planning on coming back.  She most recently starred as the title character in Luc Besson's Angel-A, and now she's joining a number of other models displaying their work at Cannes Film Festival this year.Rie's own debut feature film, Human Zoo, which she produced, wrote, directed, edited, and stars in is screening at Cannes May 19.  The film, which has been described as "Bonnie and Clyde in Kosovo," was panned by Variety when it screened at the Berlin Film Festival in February, but the Hollywood Reporter was more encouraging, deeming that Rie "holds the screen credibly" and "has much to offer as a filmmaker although it's too uneven to be called a success."

>> Yesterday's Chanel Cruise spectacle opened on the Lido beach in Venice with a barefoot, becloaked Tanya Dziahileva in a tricorn hat, and was immediately followed by an afterparty at the nearby resort hotel for the guest list of 300 or so.  Lara Stone wandered, "looking for a boyfriend," according to Style.com's Derek Blasberg, and the crowd was overrun with sequin jackets.  Karl Lagerfeld held court on the terrace, grooving to the disco music, with a bodyguard (presumedly Sebastien Jondeau, who walked earlier in the show) "holding back the editors back from his young perfect people posse."

British fashion brand Mulberry recently announced its sponsorship of a new coffee table book entitled 'Romance'. The photographic book, shot by London-born photographer Chris Craymer, captures real moments between real couples, some of whom happen to be models. Mulberry was so taken with the book that they decided to sponsor its publication, design store windows with images from the book and host a series of events around the world to promote its success.
