Last week we checked out Thread Social's Fall 2009 offering and it was full of work and evening-appropriate pieces. Carried by Shopbop and Net-a-Porter, this contemporary clothing brand was created to compliment the bridal line, Thread. Launched in 2006 by Beth Blake (formerly of Chanel and American Vogue) and Melissa Akey (of Barneys and Stila cosmetics) the Thread Social aesthetic pivots on "perfect party dresses and quirky separates". Take the neon-happy Stephen Sprouse Louis Vuitton collection, which kicked off 2009, as a sign that summer will have its share of neon looks. Two of the biggest neon trends for this season are hot pink and neon as an accent. As to where to you can get them, DKNY offered plenty of neon pieces this season and Matthew Williamson is pretty much always good for some hot pink in his range. Thanks to his H&M collaboration, which launches next month, you can find elegant examples at every price point.
