>> All signs pointed to Olivier Theyskens's imminent exit from Nina Ricci, and now it's official: house and designer released a joint statement revealing that Olivier is gone as of March 10, despite the fact that his contract goes through October.
Neither Theyskens or Ricci would comment beyond the statement, in which the house indicated it “wishes to re-orientate its development strategy for the years to come. Consequently, Nina Ricci and its artistic director Olivier Theyksens have decided by mutual agreement to cease their collaboration.” All signs point to Peter Copping, top design deputy at Louis Vuitton, being tasked with the reorientation as Olivier's replacement, but no mention of him was made in the statement, and thus no word on when he will be transitioning over for his first Ricci collection.

100 Shoes From Paris Fashion Week Fall 2009
Another season, another batch of footwear options to drool over in the coming months. Of all of the shoes that came down the runway during Paris Fashion Week, we found a few particularly noteworthy. We loved the Chloe-like rubber wedges from Kenzo, the thigh-high boots from Louis Vuitton, the ribbon tied netted heels from Balenciaga, and the nude ankle-strap heels from Miu Miu. Check out our lineup of 100 shoes from Paris Fashion Week below, and, if you can stand more, check out our round-up of 50 shoes from New York Fashion Week.
Raquel Allegra Wins With Style Points

Designer Raquel Allegra, whose torn t-shirts sent DIY waves through the blogosphere, was right on trend this Fall 2009--and it wasn't just because of those cobwebbed cottons. The designer also showed wide brimmed hats on the catwalk, which brought up visions of Acne Spring 2009, and leather knee-skimming trousers which were reminiscent of Aminaka Wilmont's Spring offering. There's nothing wrong with being a brand that's all about style, especially when it puts you in a group with these two popular names.

See Pretty Things For Coutorture: Pop Color Handbags For Spring

Vibrant color is a great way to get your wardrobe going and, happily, handbags come in every color in the rainbow. To embrace the color spectrum, I've chosen six handbags I love this season each one representing a different color in the rainbow. What I love most about a colorful handbag is that those who don't wear much color can find their adventurous side by wearing a bright handbag. With so many beautiful shapes and sizes there will always be a bag that fits your sense of style. My favorite from this list? I love Botkier's yellow satchel as I'm a fan of adding this sunny color to my outfits. With this bag I would wear a cute scarf, jeans, and an easy tunic for a relaxed weekend look.
