>> Milla Jovovich to Marry in Two Weeks —No word on when Marc Jacobs is getting married this month — though he's been unusually MIA recently except for popping up in London — but Milla Jovovich has set a definitive date and place: Aug. 22 at her and fiance Paul Anderson's Hollywood home. "It's going to be small ... just ... family and close friends. It's going to be kind of like Havana/Cuban, like very California-Spanish feeling." And the former Jovovich-Hawk designer is doing her own dress: "It's very like Sharon Tate kind of 1960's mini-dress." [People]
Erin Wasson Goes Big in Bryant Park for Spring 2010, Takes Subtle Dig at Alexander Wang?
>> Erin Wasson is bringing her first runway show at Bryant Park's biggest Tent venue to 1,100 guests — about twice the number that former collaborator Alexander Wang is expecting.
The show, which is for both her RVCA line and her Low Luv jewelry collection, is set for Friday, Sept. 12 at 8 pm and will feature both a multi-media installation and a "special musical guest to play live on the catwalk" — no further clues available yet on the latter. Of the move to a primetime venue, Wasson said she is "humbled and honored":
“I’ve spent hours at those Tents as a model, working with some of the icons of American fashion. And meanwhile, I’ve only been doing this design thing for a few seasons — Spring ’10 is season three — and it’s kind of insane to think that I’m getting to show on that same stage."It's "too predictable" to show "in, like, an abandoned warehouse" »

Hermes Takes Raquel to the Ice Hotel for Its Fall 2009 Ad Campaign
>> After sending Angela Lindvall to the beach for Spring 2009, Hermes has delved straight into Winter scenery for Fall 2009: Eric Valli captured a fur-hooded Raquel Zimmermann around Sweden's cinematic Ice Hotel. The only curious thing about this first set of three? In the shoe shot, Raquel's bootie doesn't seem to be actually touching the snow between the paw prints . . .
>> Anna Dello Russo's Home Featured in Upcoming Book from Tod's —Tod's commissioned a new picture book called Italian Touch, which inside features — among the 100-plus Italians of different ages photographed, Vogue Nippon's fashion director-at-large (and cult style icon) Anna Dello Russo, captured in her Milan home; the preview shown features an enlarged still from Luchino Visconti’s The Leopard on the wall behind her and Tod's moccasins, of course, next to her. Victoria Beckham Leaves Armani Underwear Campaign to Focus on Designing; Megan Fox to Replace Her?
>> Just days after her latest Emporio Armani underwear ad came out, Victoria Beckham has decided not to renew her one-year contract — which was announced at the end of last October — in order to focus on her own fashion and beauty lines. In fact, in early September, she will be back at New York Fashion Week to show her Victoria Beckham Collection, which Roland Mouret has helped her with in the past.
So who's going to fill the spot she just left for Armani underwear? Elle creative director Joe Zee reports: "LA is buzzing that Megan Fox is signed to replace her." Fox would make sense; she did just attend the Armani Prive couture show at the beginning of July.
